CharlesLangdonshowedapictureofhissister,Olivia,toTwain;Twainclaimedtohavefalleninloveatfirstsight.TheygotmarriedinFebruary1870.Theyhadfourchildren,whiletheonlysonwasdiedat19months.高英MarkTwain高英MarkTwainThecouple'smarriagelasted34years,untilOlivia'sdeathin1904.高英MarkTwainTwainpassedthroughaperiodofdeepdepression,whichbeganin1896whenhisdaughterSusydied.Olivia'sdeathin1904andJean'sonDecember24,1909,deepenedhisgloom.OnMay20,1909,hisclosefriendHenryRogersdiedsuddenly.
