Likeotheryoungmen,Ilovetheinternet.Tobehonest,Icouldnotimaginealifewithoutinternet,whichisablessingtakenbyhightechnology.Tosomee*tent,itrepresentsthewholeworldtome.IhaveregisteredsomeaccountsonMySpace,Facebook,Twitter,Renren,Weiboandsoforth.It’sreallyamazingbecausethesenetworktechnologiesmakeitpossibleforpeopleallovertheworldtocommunicatewitheachotherfreelyandconveniently.

However,therearetwosidestotheargument,sowhatoftheinternet.Whileitcouldlightenourlife,itcouldalsoturnintoevil.Itstartedwithsomeofthesearguments—well,itisargumentatfirst—thenthesituationseemsoutofcontrol:peoplestarttocurseandscoldeachotherjustbecausetheyhavedifferentopinions.Peoplebecamemoreandmoreaggressive,seditious,andinsulting,andlateron,withthe“Human-fleshsearching”involved,thesituationgetsevenworse.Thosearewhatwecalled“Networkofviolence”,theyarestillhappening,andstillgoingon.

Itseemslikethattheinternetfreesusfromtheburdenofourpublicidentitiessoweshouldbeourtrue,authenticselvesonline,e*ceptitturnsout—whowouldn’tseethatcoming—thatourtrue,authenticselvesaren’tthatfantastic.

Thereasonwedefineourselvesashumanisbecausewehavesomenaturalinstinctstocareforandrespectotherpeople.Inotherwords,wearepursuingtheuniversalbrotherhood,apeacefulworldoffreeminds.Itishumanismthatkeepsoursocietymovingonandon.
