2InterpretingSkills

（口譯技能介紹）迎送來賓口譯技巧迎來送往是外省活動中最為常見的禮節(jié)性活動，而其中所涉及的口譯環(huán)節(jié)則需要具有較強的原則性、禮節(jié)性和程序行。首先，譯員應(yīng)根據(jù)迎送來賓口譯活動的特點和任務(wù)，做到“三精通”，即：精通英漢介紹的表達技巧；精通介紹賓客雙方職務(wù)、職稱的英漢表達；精通歡迎詞、答謝詞等的模式，篇章結(jié)構(gòu)以及這類致詞的常用詞語。就歡迎詞而言，其模式大體如下：敬稱—向來賓表示歡迎和問候—概括已取得的合作成就及正在發(fā)生的變化和目前的進展—放眼全局，展望未來，對雙方的合作給予高度的贊揚或敘述某一活動的意義—以再一次表示感謝結(jié)束。歡迎詞的模式基本相同，只是中間部分更簡潔一些，答謝詞是賓客對主人的熱情招待表示感謝的講話。這些模式基本沒有太大的變化，靈活性較大的是這類致詞的中間部分，這也是其核心內(nèi)容?？谧g時，譯員應(yīng)高度集中精力，從發(fā)言者的口吻中試著揣摩他將要聽到的大致內(nèi)容，不斷調(diào)整自己的思維和言語表達。因此，從某種意義上來說，記住一些套語并能靈活運用于口譯之中，是譯員必須掌握的一項基本技巧。Page

3其次，對于某些職務(wù)、職稱，尤其是對西方國家的一些職業(yè)稱謂的口譯，譯員不一定能準確迅速地表達出來，要謹慎處之，平時也要注意積累和學(xué)習(xí)。例如，表示副職，英語中就有vice,deputy,associate,under等，有人把副教授associateprofessor,這在美國是指“位于副教授與講師之間的助理教授”，在我國沒有這種職稱。因此，職務(wù)、職稱、職業(yè)的口譯表達還要考慮符合對方的習(xí)慣。另外，口譯稱呼時要注意英漢文化差異，例如：漢語是姓在名前，英語是名在姓前；漢語稱呼比英語更講究輩分、排行；漢語中的某些稱呼，英語并不通用，如“李老師”不能譯成“TeacherLi”。最后，迎來送往是架設(shè)友誼橋梁的第一步，非常講究禮儀?？谧g時，要注意正式與非正式場合的言語交際和語體。例如在正式場合，一般都要把姓名全稱、頭銜、職務(wù)、職稱翻譯出來。而送別是試圖給對方留下美好的印象，以鞏固和延續(xù)雙方的友情，所以在口譯時，要注意這種特殊場合的措辭和用語。例如，對于相處甚好卻又即將分離，而且以后難以再見面的來賓，道別時往往說“我是來道別的，感謝你為我們所做的一切，保持聯(lián)系?！保↖’vecometosaygoodbye.Thanksforeverything.Keepintouch!）之類的話，如果僅僅譯為“Bye-bye”或”Goodbye”，則是失禮的。Page
