swimmingpoolintheCitySwimmingComplexwhichwasjusta35-minutedrivefromourhouse.It
wasaweekendandbothmyparentsaccompaniedme.AfterwereachedtheSwimmingComplex,we
foundmanypeoplewerelearninghowtoswim.Mymothersaidshewouldwatchmelearnthis
importantskillwiththehelpofmyfather.Thenshecheeredmeonandtookaseat.
IhadnoideahowtoswimbutIwasexcitedtotrythisnewadventure.However,whenmyfather
gotintotheswimmingpoolwithme,Ibecameabitnervous.Itseemedthatthingswerenotquiteas
easyforme.
Lookingaround,Inoticedthatmanyotherchildrenofallageswerealsotryingtograspthisskill
andsomeofthemhadprettymuchlearnedtheartandscienceofthisskill.Influencedbyothers,I
wasdeterminedtofocusonmytrainingandswimaswellasthem.Undertheguidanceofmyfather,I
learnedwithallmyeffortanddevotion,andImaderapidprogress.Afterteachingmefor30minutes
orso,myfatherwenttobuysomesnacksforusandmymothercametotalktomeforawhilenearthe
pool.SheaskedmeifIliadlearnedanythingatall.Toprovemyprogress,1jumpedintothewaterand
startedswimming.
