ThatswhyIhavespentalotofmytimeasMayoronprojectsliketheMayorsFundforLondonandTeamLondonandencouragingvolunteerstoreadtokidsacrossourcityandmentoringprogrammeswhichweareexpandingandthesupportoftheuniformedgroups,theScouts,theGuides,allthosekindsoffantasticorganisations,bringingsportingfacilitiestoschoolsthatdonthaveany,mobilepoolswevebeensendingaroundLondon,beautifulglorifiedsheepdipswesendround,theyloveit.Theyworkbrilliantlywellandwerehelpingtogettalentedyoungmusicianstocrossthatbarrierthattheyconfrontwhentheyreachtheageofelevenandhavetogothroughintosecondaryschoolandsomanyofthemgiveuptheirinstrumentsanditsareal,realtragedyandwearesettingupfundstohelpwithcreationofexcellenceinourschoolsandtoimprovestandardsallround,tosupporttheworkthatMichaelGoveisdoing.
