rest是名詞，意為“其余的部分（人）”。the

rest

of意為“其余的……，剩余的……”，后接名詞或代詞。當(dāng)其在句中作主語時，謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)形式由the

rest所指代的具體內(nèi)容來確定。例如：
