1Scope

ThisdocumentismainlyaimedtoproposeGNSSmonitoringandassessmentparametersthroughelaboratingtheirdefinitionsandfunctions,whichcanbeappliedtothemonitoringandassessmentofinternationalGNSSOpenServices.

2.1ConstellationStatus

2.1.1SatelliteOperationalstatus

1)Definition:Thetotalnumberofsatellitescurrentlyinserviceandthehealthystateofeachsatellite.

2)Function:Basiccriterionformarkingtheavailabilityofsatellites.

2.1.2OrbitParameters

1)Definition:Ephemerisparametersfordescribingsatellitepositionandvelocity.

2)Function:Tomonitorspatialdistributionoftheconstellation.

2.1.3DOP

Definition:Dilutionofprecision,includingGDOP,PDOP,TDOP,HDOPandVDOP,describesthespatialgeometricdistributionbetweenthevisiblesatellitesandusers..

2)Function:ToMonitorandevaluatetheperformanceofconstellationconfiguration.

(1)Phasemodulationerror:Phasedifferencebetweenthereceivedandidealnavigationsignalsofeachchannel.

(2)Amplitudemodulationerror:Amplitudedifferencebetweenthereceivedandidealnavigationsignalsofeachchannel.

2)Function:Tomonitorandevaluatephaseandamplitudedistortiongeneratedintheprocessofnavigationsignalmodulationandtransmission.

1)Definition:Outputsofcorrelationpeakamplitudeandcorrelationcurvecharacteristicsaftertheoperationofsignalcorrelation.

Theamplitudeandwaveformfeaturesoftheoutputcorrelationpeakofthesignalaftercorrelationcalculation.

(1)Correlationloss:Powerdifferencebetweentheactuallyreceivedsignalandtheidealsignalinthedesignedbandwidthofthesignal.

(2)Correlationcurve:Thecurveobtainedthroughcorrelationcalculationbetweenrecoveredrangingcodeandtheidealrangingcodeofallsignals

2)Function:Toevaluateamplitudeattenuationofthecorrelationoutputanddistortionofthecorrelationcurvecausedbywaveformdistortionofthesignalchip.
