一.理解報考院校專業(yè)往年的英語口試形式

各院校各專業(yè)的復試口試形式各不相似,?定要對癥下藥??梢酝ㄟ^問詢此前考過的師兄、

師姐們來理解復試口試的形式,也許H勺話,理解一下口試中常出現的問題。

總的來說,復試口試有這樣幾種類型:自我簡介;讀某篇英文文章,然后進行翻譯或31答有

關問題;抽到某個話題進行演講、論述;兩三人就同一種話題進行討論、滸論(多人一起復試的

狀況);自由問答(也許是專業(yè)或與專業(yè)有關的時事熱點問題,也也許只是理解個人狀況)。

二.理解導師/考官

首先必須理解導師在該專業(yè)的研究方向,也許的話,看看他們寫的書,由于在專業(yè)問題上,

導師一般都會往自己研究方向上靠攏:另首先,理解導師在口試中常問的某些問題及習慣(這

個又得求援于師兄師姐們了);最終,可以給導師打,讓他/她懂得你是誰,有你這樣一種考

生參與復試。

三.對如下幾種方面要多加注意,合適練習幾遍

1、會面問候語:Goodmorning/afternoon,dearprofessors.IamXXX.(Niceto

meetyou0)。辭別用陪:Thanksforyourtime./Thankyouforg1vIngsu

chachance.Ihopetoseeyouagainandsoon。

2、自我簡介篇(重點)?;旧厦總€院校每個專業(yè)的口試中都會波及這首先??脊倨鋵?/p>

是要借此理解你的口頭體現能力以及你H勺報名表之外H勺某些信息。自我簡介時間以2-3分鐘

為宜。思緒要清晰,要突出重點,口語盡量流利(不要太流利了,有背誦之嫌)。

1)考官規(guī)定你作自我簡介時,不要用...letmeintroducemyselfbrief1y/pleas

eallowmetointrodueemyseIftoyou等句子,反復、啰嗦。開頭可以只

用一句話引入:Dcarprofessors,Ifee1soglad(omeetaI1ofyou

here.然后就可以進入主題,簡介姓名、年齡等等。

2)自我簡介的主體內容

①姓名。簡介自己姓名時,發(fā)音一定要準(南方考生要多加注意)。

②年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名后帶過(lamXXX,25yearsold)?

③本來H勺院校、專業(yè)。注意:一定要把本來學校的英文名稱、專業(yè)的英文名稱弄清晰(尤

其是跨校、跨專業(yè)的學生)。

所屬的企業(yè)、職位。注意:在職考生則應將自己企業(yè)、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。

④性格、能力??梢灾貜娬{你的個性對你報考的專業(yè)有何積極的作用。假如報考的

是學術性的專業(yè),可以說自己細心(carefu1Iy,detail-oriented)、條理分明(1og

ical)、踏實(steady)等;假如是研究性、應用性更強一點的專業(yè),可以說自己負責(resp

onsible)、可靠(dependab1e)、有效率(efficient)等。

其他的某些體現性格、能力H\l形容詞有:active,aggressive(有進取心H'、J),adapta

b1e,amicable(友好口勺),analytica1(善于分析口勺),cooperat1ve,creative,discip

1incd,dutifu1,encrgctic,faithful.gentle,independeni(有主見依J),innov

ative,motivated,modest,objective,precise,punctual,precise(一絲不茍時),

temperate等等。

在職考生或有過工作經驗H勺考生還可以強調一下你的工作成績,如:Astheassis

tanttotheGeneralMangerofXXXCompany,Ihavehelpedtonegot

iatea$200,000dea1forthecorporation.

⑤愛好。AllworkandnoplaymakeJackadu11boy.除了強調你H勺學習

的重視,同步也要防止給考官一種“書呆子”的感覺。一般可以從體育、音樂、電賬等方面來

說,同步要簡樸闡明這些愛好對你的積極意義(buildmybody,relaxmyself,op

enmymind...);注意防止提到那些也許引起考官反感艮I愛好,如:playingcomputerga

mes,w91chingTV等《

⑥你對報考H勺專業(yè)有愛好(beinterestedin/befascinatedwith/beobsessed

with…),可合適舉出某些例子,如常常看有關口勺書籍、論文、文章、新聞等。在職考生可

以強調知識教育對工作H勺影響:Inmywork,Ifinditnecessarytobroadenmyhor

3)結束時可以用說:Thatallaboutme./Well,thafswhoIam.Thanks

foryourattention.

3、有關自己家庭、家鄉(xiāng)、本來的學校的某些狀況,尤其要注意本來學校的英文名稱。

1)家庭。需要注意的是,考官并不是為了做人口調查而提出這個問題的,因此應當防止流

水賬似地簡介家庭組員;要盡量闡明家人(尤其是父母)對你導致哪些方面(性格、職業(yè)規(guī)劃、

做事風格等)良好口勺影響??梢詤⒄杖缦戮涫綐嬙欤篔ust1ikemyfather,Iamespecial

2)家鄉(xiāng)。正所謂“一方水土養(yǎng)育一方人”,考官實際上是想從你對家鄉(xiāng)的簡介中找出有

關你性格、志向的線索。可以從歷史、歷史人物、著名景點、獨特風俗或特產等方面來簡樸

簡介,注意要體現熱愛家鄉(xiāng)的情感。

3)學校。假如是本??忌脑挘谧晕液喗橹芯涂梢渣c到(拉近跟考官的關系)。假如是外

校,考官一般會問:Whydidyouchooseouruniversity?那么我們就可以說說它與

報考院校之間『、J異同,然后闡明為何你選擇這個學校(Idolovetheatmosphereiny

ouruniversity.Itisful1ofyouthfuIspirits.);要注意H勺是:一定要闡明你

對在本來的院校接受教育心存感謝之情apprecialion(從好的方面說一說),著重強調

但愿能被錄取,體現自己堅定口勺決心、展望一下未來。

4、未來規(guī)劃——學習規(guī)劃(碩士后來的方向),人生規(guī)劃(短期、長期)

5^意外狀況沒聽清.你應當怎樣規(guī)定老師再說一遍(Pardon?/Sorry,Ican't

時間思索、整頓思緒的時候,不要出現沉默,可以用某些hmm,err,well等語氣詞;不會|可

答某些問題時,千萬不要不懂裝懂,可以明確地告訴老師你不懂得(Sorry,bullhavenoidea

6、跨專業(yè)問題——老師一般會對跨專業(yè)的學生問這樣一種問題:為何會選擇這個專業(yè)?

不要前篇一律地回答只說“我對這個專業(yè)感愛好”,可以把每個人都會談到H勺原因簡要地羅列

一下,對具有自己特色口勺原因則可大談特談,詳細地論述自己口勺觀點,讓老師印象深刻。

7、專業(yè)知識一在英語口試中(非英語專業(yè)),假如老師提問專業(yè)問題,一般不會指望你

能進行流利的、專業(yè)性強的論述;不過某些專業(yè)術語的英文說法還是行必要理解一下的。

8、提出問題——在面試快結束的時候,一般老師都會問,你有無什么要問的J(D。y
