陳老師:您好!我是05級6班的同學,學習翻譯和自己實踐著做翻譯已有一段時間,且不說進步與否,先談談我近來的一些感受。 首先,就像您說的“翻譯要慢慢磨”,確實，從實踐中我也慢慢有了一點感覺，算雖苦尤樂吧 但是,我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己在選擇課外材料做翻譯的時候，仍存在一些困惑,即在選擇內(nèi)容方面：是否拿來就翻,別人給你就翻,您發(fā)給我們的作業(yè)我想都具有代表性,包括論文摘要、散文、評論以及小故事等等。至今，我覺得我們做過的翻譯材料并非很難。但是這個星期的作業(yè)我都磨了兩三天了,漢譯英雖然有很多語法錯誤,但是通過整和句子,我差不多翻出來了,但英譯漢就真的是頭痛啦,雖然句子意思都理解了,初稿也大概形成了,但翻第二遍的時候,感覺句子還是不通,不知該怎么擺，現(xiàn)在還在研究啊!這篇文章應該是科技文吧。我看了一些專八的真題，發(fā)現(xiàn)這些真題涉及面也比較廣，例如07年真題的英譯漢是哈佛大學校長勞倫斯薩默斯演講Good Bye And Good Luck的選段，所以我想我們平時應該多涉及一些領域多拓寬自己的知識面，至少當別人提起一些東西的時候，我們不是“門外漢”。但是很多領域?qū)τ谖襾碚f都是生疏的,例如醫(yī)學、科技等方面，我想這也與個人興趣有關吧。 現(xiàn)在我們還處于做翻譯的初級階段，怎樣選擇翻譯材料是我最大的困惑，政治、經(jīng)濟、文化各個方面，面真的太廣了，我們更多的要選擇哪些方面的材料來提高自己的翻譯水平呢？還望陳老師指點指點，謝謝！ 論文摘要翻譯的問題論英文報刊的語言特色及閱讀技巧（文體？）(湖南農(nóng)業(yè)大學外國語學院)摘要：本文首先從標題、導語和正文三個方面入手論述了英文報刊的文體特點，探討了英文報刊的閱讀技巧和閱讀中應注意的問題，以幫助讀者提高英文報刊的能力。On the Stylistic Features of English PeriodicalsAbstract: The features of English periodical tiles, bodies and structures are analyzed first, then some strategies of English news reading have been introduced, so that with the help of this, students can improve their ability of reading English newspapers and magazines.修改譯文：On the Stylistic Features of English Newspapers and PeriodicalsAbstract: This paper firstly discusses the stylistic features of the headline, lead, and body of English newspapers and periodicals, and then puts forward some skills and attentions for reading this kind of materials. The second aspect is from the listening technique, for example, catch the main idea and the details of the passage, definite the central idea, understand the character s relation, infer the author s purpose, find the causation, make conclusion and so on.
