Unit 3 How do you get to School ? 教案The Fourth Period (Section B, 2aSelf Check)Teaching aims (教學(xué)目標(biāo))1. 能用所學(xué)知識閱讀文章。2. 能理解文章內(nèi)容,回答問題。3. 能夠理解文章細(xì)節(jié)內(nèi)容。4. 能夠運(yùn)用所學(xué)內(nèi)容介紹自己的上學(xué)路線。Language points (語言點(diǎn))1. 詞匯:1) 名詞n. river, village, bridge, boat, ropeway, year, villager, dream2) 形容詞 adj. afraid, true, many3) 動詞 v. cross,leave 4)短語 between and , come true2. 句型:Its not easy to cross the river on a ropeway. There is no bridge.You want to know how Difficulties (教學(xué)難點(diǎn))1. 理解文章內(nèi)容,正確回答問題。2. 用所學(xué)知識寫出完整的文章。Teaching steps (教學(xué)步驟)Step 1. Warm-up and revision(課堂熱身和復(fù)習(xí))Talk about different ways of going to school.Step 2. Work on 2a 觀察題目和圖片進(jìn)行預(yù)測Now class, lets look at the title and the picture of a newspaper passage, What is the title? Can you read it, please? Yes. Now lets also look at the picture. Are the people in the picture old or young? Are they teachers or students? Whats under them? Is it dangerous? Lets say youre one of them, and you go to school this way every day, are you afraid?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生讀題目看圖,預(yù)測將要讀到的內(nèi)容。教師應(yīng)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)注圖中人物。Step 3. Work on 2b讀前活動,了解閱讀任務(wù)Now, please read the questions.細(xì)讀短文,完成任務(wù)Now, please read the passage twice. Answer the questions.第一遍閱讀,讓學(xué)生獲取活動內(nèi)容,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)注閱讀內(nèi)容,從中提取有用信息;第二遍閱讀,獲取具體信息以完成具體任務(wù),即能回答問題,并找出能回答這個問題的句子。課堂討論,核對問題答案Now, please discuss in groups to get the answers to the questions.第四個問題的最后一問是開放性的,學(xué)生的回答合理即可。跟讀、齊讀、自讀短文,提高口語和聽力First, read the passage after me. Imitate the pronunciation and intonation.Now, read together loudly.This time, read by yourself as quickly as possible.Step 4.Work on 2c再讀課文,找出描述性詞Now please read the passage again and find out all the description words. 讓學(xué)生明確活動要求,識別形容詞、副詞朗讀描述性詞,核對答案Lets read the description words and sentences together.(easy, small, difficult, big, quickly, afraid, true)學(xué)生模仿朗讀。重讀課文,完成任務(wù)Lets read the passage again. Fill in the blanks with the description words.Step 5.Language points:1. For many students, it is easy to get to school.對于許多學(xué)生來說,上學(xué)很容易。 1) many adj. pron. 許多 表示“多”的意思,可用many, much, a lot of, lots of 等。但是many, much常用于否定句和疑問句,而a lot of等則常用于肯定句。例如: I havent seen many English films. 多數(shù)英文電影我沒看過。(many修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),表許多) There is much water in the bottle.瓶子里有許多水。(much修飾不可數(shù)名詞,表量或程度。) The boy had a lot of pocket money.這男孩有許多零花錢。You have lots of time to finish the work.你有充裕的時間來完成這項(xiàng)工作。 注:lots ofa lot of 后面接可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞均可,接可數(shù)名詞時謂語用復(fù)數(shù),接不可數(shù)名詞時,謂語用單數(shù)。2) It is + adj. (for sb.) to do sth. (對某人來說)干某事是 It is interesting for me to play computer games. 對我來說玩電腦游戲很有趣。2. There is a very big river between their school and the village. 在他們的學(xué)校和鄉(xiāng)村之間有一條大河。 between and 在和之間例如: Can you tell me the difference between Lucy and Lily? 你能告訴我露西和莉莉之間的不同嗎?3. There is no bridge and the river runs too quickly for boats. (河上)完全沒有橋梁,而且河水湍急,不宜小船擺渡。 1) 此句是英語否定結(jié)構(gòu)的一種。當(dāng)no 用于構(gòu)成否定句,主要用于名詞之前,強(qiáng)調(diào)否定其后的名詞,表現(xiàn)“完全不;根本沒有。”例如:There are no computers in that small mountain village. 在那個小山村里根本就沒有電腦。 There is no milk in the fridge.冰箱里沒有牛奶。2) run 表示“跑,奔;液體的流動”,在不同語境中分別有不同的用法和含義。例如: I run back to my room and get my bag. 我奔回房間拿自己的提包。 The river runs into the sea.這條河流入大海。 I have a bad headache and my nose runs a lot. 我頭痛得很厲害,而且我的鼻涕很多。4. One 11-year-old boy, Liangliang, crosses the river every school day. 亮亮,一個11歲男孩,每天過河上學(xué)。 1)11-year-old 構(gòu)成一個復(fù)合形容詞,修飾名詞boy。請注意其中的year之后沒有復(fù)數(shù)詞尾-s。這一構(gòu)詞結(jié)構(gòu)較為常見。例如: a four-day trip 一個四天的旅行 a 30-page book 一本30頁的書 a three-room house 一個三間屋的房子2)cross 作動詞用,“穿過,越過”的意思。主要表示在物體表面上橫穿。如橫過馬路、過橋、過河等,與go across同義。例如: Be careful when you cross the street.過馬路時要小心。辨析 cross, across與through (1) across是介詞,有“橫跨,橫穿,穿越”之意。 例如: 綠色長城橫跨中國西北。 The Great Green Wall is across the northwest ofChina. (2) through是介詞,“在之中,透過”的意思,主要表示從物體內(nèi)部穿過。如穿過森林、隧洞等。例如: The two friends were walking through the forest.這兩個朋友正沿著森林走。5. But he is not afraid. 但是他不害怕。 afraid adj. 害怕的;畏懼的 Are you afraid of snakes? 你怕蛇嗎? Children feel afraid when they are at home alone. 孩子獨(dú)自自己在家, 感到害怕。 Im afraid to speak in front of other people. 我害怕在其他人面前發(fā)言。 be afraid to do sth. 害怕做某事 afraid of sth. / sb. 怕某事/某人 afraid of v -ing 怕做某事注意:1. afraid是表語形容詞 2. I am afraid有時指I am sorry。 Im afraid we cant come. 很抱歉,我們不能來。6. Hes like a father to me.對于我來說,他像一個父親。 like prep. 像 The baby is like his mother. = The baby looks like his mother.這個小嬰兒長得像他媽媽。 What is like? 怎么樣? What is the weather like today? 今天的天氣怎么樣?7. Many of the students and villagers never leave the village. 許多學(xué)生和村民從未離開過村莊。 leave v. 離開 Please turn off the light when you leave. 走時請關(guān)燈。 The train will leave in a second. 列車馬上要開了。Step 6.Group work:Step 7. Work on 3a讀前看圖,猜測交通方式First, look at the picture. Can you guess what the e-mail is about? (About how to get to school.)Good, you are right.讀懂要填的詞義,消除學(xué)生的任務(wù)障礙。Now look at the words in the box. Do you know the meaning of them? Lets read together齊讀單詞或詞組,讓學(xué)生說出漢語意思學(xué)生獨(dú)立閱讀3a,完成填空任務(wù)。Now, please fill in the blanks with the words in the box. You can ask for help or discuss with others.Ok, check your answers.找一兩個學(xué)生說出自己的答案,如有錯誤,分析錯誤原因。(提醒學(xué)生注意前面或后面搭配的詞)集體、分組朗讀,進(jìn)一步熟悉課文Lets read the e-mail together.Read in groups.再次閱讀,回答問題,為3b作鋪墊Now, read Toms e-mail again and answer the following questions. 1When does he leave home?2How does he get to school?3How far is it from his home to school?4How long does it take him to get to school?5How is his trip to school?讓學(xué)生在3a中劃出答案所在的句子,為3b的寫作做準(zhǔn)備。朗讀含有答案的5句話Step 8. Work on 3b 根據(jù)問題提示,仿寫e-mailFirst, lets read the questions together. Then write an e-mail to Tom. You can use 3a for help. 學(xué)生進(jìn)行仿寫練習(xí),教師巡視指導(dǎo)。教師應(yīng)當(dāng)關(guān)注兩點(diǎn):1e-mail格式是否正確;2學(xué)生語言的正確性;3語篇的連貫性。課堂點(diǎn)評及交流,收集學(xué)生優(yōu)秀寫作相互學(xué)習(xí)Now, we have got so many great writings. Please show and share them. 根據(jù)剛才的巡視與指導(dǎo),糾正錯誤,展示優(yōu)秀作品。讓學(xué)生向自己的同伴進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí),比教師演示、講解書本范例要直接有效得多。Step 9. Work on Self Check.1.小組合作,擴(kuò)散思維Now work in groups to think out as many transportation nouns as possible提醒學(xué)生從“水”、“陸”、“空”三個線索回想,并想一想乘坐這種交通工具該怎樣表達(dá)。閱讀左右兩部分,組成短語Please use the words in the boxes to make as many expres
