Module 1 Life in The Future四川樂山一中 譚碧瓊 教材分析1.1 INTRODUCTION以一幅圖片切入話題,激發(fā)學生的想象力,讓他們討論未來的房子,同時來鞏固并學習有關建筑材料的詞匯,讓學生分組討論,為后面的閱讀做好鋪墊。 1.2 READING AND VOCABULARY課文以“The City of the Future”為話題,簡單構思了未來的城市的發(fā)展趨勢,介紹了原因,并以美國得克薩斯州一所大學 的學生對未來的城市的預測為例,從垃圾處理,警察對罪犯的處理方式,購物,電話,休閑,交通,遠程手術,度假,太空旅行等方面對未來的城市進行預測和想象。這篇文章題材新穎,能很好激發(fā)學生豐富的想象力,設想美好的未來,使學生意識到保護環(huán)境和充分利用自然資源的重要性。1.3 FUNCTION (Talking about the future) 對將來時的六種用法與具體的語境相結合,并通過相應的練習使學生對將來時的用法有一個總體認識并對其用法進行區(qū)別、歸納和總結。1.4 LISTENING AND SPEAKING 該部分有兩項任務,一是聽錄音,然后完成與錄音內(nèi)容相關的練習,二是分組討論,記住該建筑師所說的內(nèi)容,并對預言發(fā)生的可能性進行判斷,然后設想未來的房子并進行描述。1.5 GRAMMAR (The future continuous) 通過一系列語法練習,旨在使學生掌握將來進行時的用法。1.6 PRONUNCIATION 主要通過重讀詞匯的練習,讓學生注意實詞重讀而虛詞不重讀。1.7 WRITING 閱讀四個學生對未來的預測,讓學生展開想象,設想自己美好的未來,然后根據(jù)自己想象的十年后的情景, 用本單元所學的語言知識寫一篇一百字左右的短文。1.8 EVERYDAY ENGLISH 主要練習了本單元五個重要短語。1.9 CULTURAL CORNER 讓學生閱讀一些二十世紀人們預測的部分沒有實現(xiàn)的預言,要求學生寫5-7個句子,設想中國未來的情形。 教學目標【知識與能力目標】1. Ask students to look at the picture on page one and answer the following questions. What is it? Where do you think it is ? Would you like to live in it?What materials it is made of/from? 2. Name some common materials aluminium; wood; brick rubber ; steel; mud3. Ask students to say some natural and man-made building materials. Natural materials: wood, mud, stone, grass . Man-made materials:glass, steel, cement, rubber, plastic .4. Show some structures and ask students to say what they are made of.5. We will/shall be returning to New York. 我們的工作3月結束, 之后我們將回到紐約。2. 用法1)表示將來某一時刻或某一段時間里正在進行的動作。如: e.g. We will be seeing a fashion show this time tomorrow afternoon. Miss Wang will be working on this experiment until next month.2) 用于代替一般將來時(多用于口語中),使語言生動形象。用法如下:(1) 預料將要發(fā)生的動作或情況。 e.g. The train will be arriving soon.(2) 表示現(xiàn)已決定或安排將要做的事。e.g. Doctor Smith will be giving another talk on family health at the same time next week.3)解釋將要發(fā)生動作的原因。e.g. I neednt write to him, because Ill be seeing him tomorrow.4)表示未來結果。e.g. Stop the child or hell be falling over.5)表示現(xiàn)在或未來一個動作之后接著的另一個動作,前后兩個動作是根據(jù)安排緊接著進行的。e.g. Bob is leaving school in July, then hell be going to university.6) 表示婉轉口氣,表達有禮貌的詢問或請求。e.g. Will you be having some tea? Will you be lending me your dictionary?3. 注意:將來進行時可以與be going to連用。e.g. Im going to be working all day tomorrow, so I wont have time to buy Mothers present.將來進行時常用的時間狀語有soon, tomorrow, this evening, on Sunday, by this time tomorrow, in two days, tomorrow evening等。4.將來進行時與現(xiàn)在進行時的幾點區(qū)別:1) 現(xiàn)在進行時表示一種經(jīng)過考慮的、將來要進行的動作, 而將來進行時通常表示正常過程中會發(fā)生的動作,因此將來進行時不如現(xiàn)在進行時那樣肯定,比后者偶然性要大一些:e.g. I am seeing Tom tomorrow.明天我要和湯姆見面。Ill be seeing Tom tomorrow.明天我會見到湯姆。第一句意指湯姆或說話人已經(jīng)特意安排了這次會面,而第二句則意指湯姆和說話人將在日常進程中見面。不過這種差別并不是在任何情況下都很重要,而且常常兩者都可以使用。2) 現(xiàn)在進行時通常用于表示不遠的將來的動作, 必須有確定的時間,而將來進行時可以和確定的時間狀語連用,也可以不連用;將來進行時既可以表示不遠的將來的動作,也可以表示較遠的將來的動作。可以說:We are meeting him tomorrow. 但不說 We are meeting him next year.5.
