14、rry! ill pay for you.別擔心，我會給你付錢的。(4)pay sb. 付錢給某人。例：they pay us every month.他們每月給我們報酬。(5)pay money back 還錢。例：may i borrow 12 yuan from you? ill pay it back next week.你能借給我 12 塊錢嗎？下周還你。(6)pay off ones money 還清錢。例：ill pay off my money to you soon!我會盡快還清我的錢！payment n. 支付pay=make a payment=make payments

15、 例如：i have to make a payment for the book lost.我不得不賠丟失的書款。4) deposit: vt.&vi. 儲蓄、存錢i want to deposit 100 dollars in the bank. 我想往銀行里存 100 美元。withdraw: vt. 從銀行取錢i want to withdraw some cash from the bank.我想從銀行里取一些錢。5) go up: 上升come down：下降the vegetables price all go up, but the meats come down.蔬菜（the

16、 vegetables）的價格都在上升，但是肉類的價格在下降。6) as as 比較句型，用于表示不同人或物同一性質(zhì)的比較，意為“和一樣 ” 例如： the tree is as tall as the building (is) 這棵樹和那棟樓一樣高。注意此結(jié)構(gòu)也常用于形象比喻中： as stubborn as a mule 非常頑強的，倔強的； as clear as crystal 非常透明的； as poor as a church mouse 非常貧困的； as busy as a bee 像蜜蜂一樣忙碌； as easy as abc 像 abc 一樣容易； as deep as

17、a well 像井一樣深， as light as a feather 像羽毛一樣輕； as soft as butter 像黃油一樣軟。7）rare adj. 稀罕的，珍貴的，珍稀的i have brought you a rare and noble gift. 我給你們帶來一件稀罕而寶貴的禮物。rare animal 珍稀動物rare coin 稀有硬幣8）worth adj. be worth + 錢：表示“擁有財產(chǎn)”或 “價值錢”的意思。例如：the house is worth a million dollars. 這棟房屋價值百萬。 be + worth + doing” ：表示

18、“值得去做某事”，句子的主語就是 doing 的邏輯賓語。例如：now john is worth talking to.（現(xiàn)在值得與約翰談一談。）he isn t worth getting angry with.（犯不上跟他生氣。）注意：動詞的-ing 形式之后的介詞不可省去。worth 后面的動詞-ing 形式一般用主動 形式表示被動意義，而不能直接用被動形式。例：the film isnt worth watching. 這部電影不值得一看。9) collect v. 收集，收藏collect coins/stamps4. oral practice1). assign student
