3、ans worldwide among children and adults alike.so,she was so popular that her works had been translated into nearly seventy different languages, in more than two hundred countries accumulative total sales of more than three hundred and fifty million copies.then, she was honoured as magic mother j.k.

4、rowling the author of the novel jk.rowling, who is a famous writer in the world, is famous with the novel-harry potter.it is a series novel that attracts numbers of people in the world.like that of her own character, harry potter, j.k. rowlings life has the luster of a fairy tale. divorced, living o

5、n public assistance in a tiny edinburgh flat with her infant daughter, rowling wrote harry potter and the sorcerers stone at a table in a cafe during her daughters naps and it was harry potter that rescued her. as an author, j.k.rowling has written fiction since she was a child. she grows up in chep

6、stow and wrote her first book at the age of six-a story about a ribbit called rabbit. she studied french and classical at exeter university, then moved to londonto work at amnesty international, and then to portugal to teach engliash as a foteign language, before settling in edinburg. the idea for h

7、arry potter occured to hei on the train from manchester to london, where she says harry potter just strolled into my head fully formed，and by the time she had arrived at kings cross, many of the characters had taken shape. during the next five years she outlined the plots for each book and began wri

12、pe is a real person that j.k. rowling has encountered in her early life, he taught her chemistry and employed her mother as an assistant at wyedean school near chepstow. rowlings own mythical journey is not much different than that of her fictional characters: loss, rejection, success; and the journ

13、ey continues for both her and her characters the plot of the work the books chronicle the adventures of a wizard, harry potter and his friends ronald weasley and hermione granger, all of whom are students at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. the main story are concerns harrys quest to over

14、come the dark wizard lord voldemort, whose aims are to become immortal, to conquer the wizarding world, subjugate muggles (non-magical people), and destroy all those who stand in his way, especially harry potter. harry potter is an orphan raised by dursley family who make him sleep in the storage sp

15、ace beneath the stairs. he does not know his parents were wizards and he is also in fact a powerful wizard until he is in his eleventh birthday when rebeus hagrid, the caretaker of hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry visits him. harrys adventure begins when he starts to attend the school and

16、becomes a close friend of two other young magicians, hermione granger and ron weasley. he is gradually building a confrontation with the evil wizard who killed his parents. all in all the harry potter series is chronicling the life of the young, orphaned wizard harry. the series is beginning when ha

17、rry is eleven and following him through adolescence and young adulthood until seventeen.the main characters of the work harry potter became popular in the world, in addition to the fascinating world of magic, the author created three heroes also hold all the readers heart.harry potter,ron weasley,he

22、entle, and has a spirit of adventure, more magical magic power of the little boy has been deeply rooted in the reads hearts in the world harrys fate is so legendary. it is reported that his parents be killed in a car accident, only a slender, lightning-shaped scar on his forehead, it is the scars th

23、at he seemed so different in the magic school. he is thin than other peers, and living in aunts stairs under the dark cupboard, often be bullied by his severe cousin. however, he is a real wizard, in the day of his 11th birthday; the giant hagrids arrival changed his life totally.he crossed the plat

25、ous beat voldemort, so that he became a hero in everybodys heart. but this has the wizard nature and legendary experience boy is not so perfect.he wanted to have fun, do not love to do their homework. in front of difficulties and dangers, he will be weak, shrink back. in the face of strong voldemort

35、boy who was born in magic family. he is always so clumsy, a little bit shy and inferiority. but sometimes you have to admire ron, though he is always under the brilliance of harry and hermione, but he really is outspoken lovely and beautiful. he and harry adventure and break the rules of school toge

36、ther. he also is integrity brave. at the same time, often because the temerity committed some minor errors. however, his honesty is more attractive. compared with harry, ron is luckier. he has not experienced so much darkness and misfortune; he is simple, like all poor but happy children. for the pe

40、iculty is like a spring. if you are strong, then it is weak. but if you are weak, then it is strong. facing all kinds of difficulties, harry didnt run away from them but chose to conquer them bravely. he was the winner of life. life without difficulty does not exist. it just likes that river without

42、n his dream and never gives in to the difficulties. lets strive together! harry potter, a great man, was born with a scar looking like a lightning as a sign of fighting with voldemort, the most frightful bad wizard who killed harrys parents. harrys parents tried their best to protect him from voldem

43、ort. at that night, harrys parents died, voldemort was hurt seriously and harry survived as a legend. the scar indicates the fierceness of the fighting and the greatness of love. because his parents both died, he was adopted by his aunt. his aunts family felt very bad about harry who came from a wiz

44、ard family and his brother-in-law , dudley, who was spoiled badly by harrys uncle and aunt, always bullied him, so harrys childhood was very miserable, and he had to live his birthday alone each year. just like this, harry grew up to 11 years old.on harrys 11-years-old birthday, an unusual thing hap

45、pened and changed his life. he received an admission letter from the magic school, hogwarts. then hagrid, the keeper of keys and grounds at hogwarts, told him how his parents died, and then brought him to diagon alley, the market for wizards. harry bought some necessary things for school there and s

46、tarted to find him very famous. after the surprising experience, harry couldnt wait going to school.on the correct day, harry came to the magic school which looked like an ancient castle. to harrys happiness, he made friends with a kind boy named ron weasley and a clever girl named hermione granger.

47、 but there was a boy named draco malfoy who was prideful and always picked a quarrel with harry. compared with staying in the aunts house, harry was much happier in school. he started to learn the magic which he never knew before and learned how to fly in the sky, how to use the basic conjuration, a

48、nd even how to play the quidditch game. besides these things, harry received an invisibility cloak, the possession of his father, which made him free to any place.but behind the peaceful situation, there seemed to be some kind of secret and horrible power around harry. the scar on his forehead hurt

49、more and more frequently and painfully than any time before. harry, ron and hermione accidently found a big dog with three heads in a chamber on the third floor. the bank for wizards, gringotts, which was the safest place except hogwarts, was stolen. the teacher of defence against the dark arts clas

50、s, quirrel, always wore a big scarf on his head with no reason and made very disgusting smell. at last, harry, ron and hermione happened to find the secret that the philosophers stone which could relive voldemort was hidden in the chamber which the big dog with three heads was watching and doubt tha

51、t professor severus snape would steal it for voldemort. so they hurried to the chamber and found the big dog sleeping with music. being surer that someone wanted to steal the philosophers stone to relive voldemort, they kept on looking for it. with rons and hermiones help, harry overcame all kinds o

52、f obstacles and finally came to the place alone where the philosophers stone was hidden. to harrys surprise, the person who wanted to steal the philosophers stone for vordemort was not professor severus snape but poor stuttering professor quirrel .what was more horrible that professor quirrel had tw

53、o faces, one for himself and the other for vordemort ,and that was why he always wore a big scarf on his head. vordemort lived off professor quirrels body and controlled him. at the last moment, harry got the philosophers stone and almost lost his life to protect it from being used by voldemort. for

54、tunately, the president of hogwarts, dumbledore, came in time, saved harry and destroyed the stone. because of the brave action, harry and his friends won great honor from the school. after reading the entire novel, i find it has a consummate ending-they finally have a peaceful life, such as after the fighting, harry saidive had enough trouble for a life time. yes, after experiencing all of that. peace is happiness. story as it is, i want to believe it is true in my mind. those men, women and other thi
