You can easily get general infor
9、mation from outlines of the destination, travel information on passport, visa and health regulations, currency, hotels and restaurants, business facilities, import and exchange control information, and other relevant information. Passport Check the passport if it needs renewing. Chinese passports ar
10、e issued for a 5-year period. It is usual for business people who travel on their firms behalf to carry a long-term passport. Application forms for new passports can be obtained from local police offices or Internet. It is advisable to apply at least one month before a new passport is needed, longer

23、(ITB) is an invitation to contractors or equipment suppliers, through a bidding process, to submit a proposal on a specific project to be realized or product or service to be furnished. IFB is generally the same thing as Request for Quote (RFQ). The IFB or RFQ is focused on pricing, and not on ideas
24、 or concepts. If not stated otherwise, the contractor or supplier with the lowest bid is awarded the contract, provided that they meet the minimum criteria for the bid. This is in contrast to a request for proposal (RFP), in which case other reasons (technology used, quality) might cause or allow ch
25、oice of the second best offer. An RFP is a request for a price from a buyer but the buyer would also expect suggestions and ideas on how the project work should be done. RFPs are thus focused on more than just pricing/cost, they entail a bit of consulting from the contractor or vendor. An invitation

33、ime, and ensure that food does not reach your palms. 6.6 Culture Module Task One Culture Matters It is not necessary to taste each and every dish prepared, but you must finish everything on the plate as it is considered a respect for served food, and food is sacred. For this reason, take only as muc
34、h food on the plate as you can finish. Generally it is not accepted to burp, slurp, or spit. Always eat food as it is served. It is not a good idea to ask for salt or pepper. It is however now acceptable to ask for salt or pepper with a mention that you like more of it. Playing with food or in any w
35、ay distorting the food is unacceptable. Eating at a medium pace is important as eating too slowly may imply that you dislike the food, whereas eating too quickly is rude. In some parts of India, if a diner finishes earlier than the rest, they may need to wait until everyone has finished. Occasionally in these parts, it is acceptable for the diner who has
