8、p3我可以借多久？only one day. 僅一天。2. thanks for taking care of my dog. 謝謝你照看我的狗。(1) thank既可人作名詞也可作動詞，都有“謝謝”之意。在該句中thank為名詞。thanks for意為“謝謝某人做了某事”，介詞for后可跟名詞、代詞或動名詞，此句相當于thank sb. for。如：thanks for your help. 謝謝你的幫助。thanks for telling me the good news. 謝謝你告訴我那條好消息。thank作名詞時只能用復數(shù)形式。(2) take care of意為“照顧，照看”，相

9、當于look after， care for。表示“好好照顧”用take good care of。如：please take good care of your things by yourself. 你自己照看好東西。can you help me to take care of my little sister? 你能照顧我的小妹妹嗎？3. give him water and feed him. 給他喂水和食物。(1) give及物動詞，后可接雙賓語give sb. sth，也可用give sth. to sb.這一結(jié)構。如：give the letter to maria. =giv

10、e maria the letter.請把這封信交給瑪麗亞。當某物是代詞時，不宜用give me + 代詞。如：誤：give him it. 正：give it to him.(2) feed 作及物動詞，意為“喂養(yǎng)，飼養(yǎng)”。常用于這些結(jié)構中：feed+賓語+on sth.，feed sth. to +賓語，feed+賓語+with sth.，feed+賓語+sth.。如：she feeds the baby on / with milk. 她喂嬰兒牛奶。we feed the cows with grass. 我們用草來喂牛。he feeds some fish to the cat. 他把

11、魚喂給貓吃。 feed作不及物動詞時，意為“以為食”，常與on連用。如：sheep feed on grass. 羊以草為食。 4. play with him. 和他一起玩。(1) play with表示“玩，玩弄”，一是指動物或小孩的無意識行業(yè)；二是指一種不嚴肅的行為。如：its dangerous to play with fire. 玩火是危險的。the little boy is playing with the ball. 那個小男孩在玩球。(2) play用作及物動詞時，后可以接不同的名詞或代詞作賓語，其含義也不相同。接表示“人”的名詞或代詞作賓語，意思是“和比賽”；其后接表示球
