(1)The boylook after himself now .(2) Bill play football / at the age of ten?whe n he was ten years oldYes,he./No

6、, he.2表示推測,意為 可能” can和could均可表示可能,但此時could的可能性更??;另外, could還可表示過去可能。當表示可能時,否定及疑問句中通常只用 can。e.g. Anythinghappe n at that mome nt.Hebe your brother . You don t look the same.3.表示許可,委婉提出請求,給出建議。 此時could與can無時態(tài)上的差別,只是 could的語氣更為委婉。(注:can常用于平輩之間,may常用于對師長)e.g.: I use your rubber, Millie? I come in , Mr Wu
