1、What Makes a qualified English TeacherThis title reminds me of my own teacher of English and teacher of Chinese. All the students have their teachers of English and Chinese. And I believe they brought us both delights and disappointment. So, only according to this experience, what we expect from our

However, these words cant form a system to judge a teacher. Firstly, being a good language teacher, what the premise is being a good teache

As a role model, they not only cure our hearts but also set examples for us. When we were students, we e

A teacher with extreme high level of morality often has a potent and positive effect on his students, rather than those with high teaching standard. Sometimes just a sentence accidentally comes out of a teachers m

As a language teacher, especially, when we talk about “fairness”, not only do we refer to be fair to every student and dont isolate some certain one, but also should we properly regard the conflicts between different cultures. Even though we have our own opi

In conclusion, a responsible teacher should aim for integrated development of students, not only in knowledge, skills and abilities, but also in values, attitudes a

As to yourself, you should obtain the capability to have language usage well in hand, and an excellent command of western culture. You can not be

8、more knowledgeable and informed. Besides, youd better be versatile, especially in the four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. As we all know, students always use English as a tool. So, the utility function is urgently needed. And these four skills help to enhance the focus on realist

Moreover, a good language teacher should be equipped with profession and armed with a range of skills, strategies and information. Before you give your students a glass of water, you should have a barrel of it. You sh

Whats more, youd better let your students dip into literature works and train them to have a western way of thinking, which encourage them to involve in the western culture. So having a g

The students should be exposed to different aspects of English knowledge, on one hand, to widen their e

In one word, the more knowledgeable you are, the more students can absorb from us.But these are not enough. You also should be skilled in lesson planning and class management. It is essential to make th

Students like humorous and charming teachers with strong attraction. And even in some dull academic courses, which are hard to make the class live

Although classroom instruction conducted exclusively in English is unrealistic in most high school, it should be strongly advocated for English teacher to get t

Oral proficiency, at the same time, can bring the teacher the students respect. If one can teach a lesson flue

Capable teachers should have the awareness to develop their independent spirit, which is also helpful to students personal life and future. To be a role model ought to be highlighted. A qualified teacher should teach his or her students “how to teach” rather than “give them fish”. Y

Instead of waiting for the teacher to teach them, they should be taught to be active to look for every chance in using English, such as communicate with others, and spea

As a leader, or a “consultant”, raising students interest in language and train them to own the independent learning skills is the most valuable things to do.Being a master of integrally using different ELT m

But if we just integrate the advantageous aspects into one usage, amazing effect can be achieved. If I we

Thus, the students can have opportunities to open their mouth, to interact with me and with other students actively. That

We can apply it to sentence analysis, grammar, ect, for many sentence structure and grammatical rules are so conventional and arbitrary that we can hardly explain them. And when

Usually we can find that even we dont recognize the sentence structure and sentence grammar, we already have the capacity to po

Since having repeated it many times, there is little difficulty to speak it out from intuition.Ideally, a qualified language teacher should be excellent both in his or her professional competence and communicative competence. As to profess

Nowadays, the significance of English is raised rapidly and the pace of the world speeds up, we teachers should keep processing

26、 to make us more knowledgeable and professional. To be a qualified English teacher, I believe that loving and esteeming your students is also the most important. Loving your students will make your student close to you, respect you, trust you and like learning from you.To arose their interest is also

27、 very important, for you teachers, you have often heard of this famous saying: “the best teacher is the interest”. If we arose the interest of our students, they will think learning English is not so hard but a kind of amusement. Many excellent students love English due to this. Now, I sincerely wan
