1、Good morning, teachers! Its my pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you.I will show 6 parts in my lesson.The teaching material I will introduce is module 4 in book 3 for Senior English compulsory course which is published by Foreign Language Teaching And Research Press.There are28key words and
2、 2 grammar points in this lesson.It introduces sandstorms in Asia.The teaching material aims at students in Grade Ten.These students are eager to know things out of there field of vision,such as this lesson.So they will be very glad and active to take part in activities in class.But the situation of
3、 these students is polarization.There are two reasons about this.The first one is that they cant remember a large number of vocabularies.The second one is about the learning strategies,students cant use them effectively.According to this situation ,I design teaching aims from3aspects.In knowledge ai
4、m,I should help students master the new words,phases and sentence patterns in this module.About ability aim,students are supposed to improve their ability of communicating.At the same time,they should learn to talk about information sandstorms.In emotional aim,I will lead the students to realize the
5、 sandstorms deeper.Thus they can broaden their horizon and strengthen their consciousness of protecting the environment.The important points in this module are key words ,different types of infinitive.I will achieve these points through classroom questions.Then the difficult point is how to let the
6、students use the different types of infinitive to communicate with others.What more,they are also supposed to use it in their writing.In order to break through this difficult point,I will make a scene in my teaching process and set up key words in writing process.According to teaching material and s
7、tudents,I use the teaching methods as follows:1. Communicative Approach(交際教學法)2. Whole Language Teaching(整體語言教學法)3. Task-based Language Teaching (任務(wù)教學法)4. Total Situational Action (情景教學) Now lets come to my teaching procedurelead- in At the very beginning
8、of the class, I should spark the students mind to focus on the central topic”sandstorms in Asia” .I will show the photos of sandstorms in Asia. then ask students What are these? Where are they?After answering the questions, the students will be eager to know something about sandstorms, and this is t
9、he very time to lead the class into next step While-reading In this step, I will divide students in 4 groups and give them clear and specific purposes while they are reading. Task one :structure and main idea of each paragraph The students will be asked to discuss in groups.They should divide the te
10、xt in several parts and conclude the main idea of each paragraph.The purpose of this task is to develop students reading skills by fast reading. Task two: details In this section,students should read each paragraph carefully in order to finish some exercises I give them on the blackboard.Just like j
11、udging T or F,filling the chart,alternative choices and so on.And then,talk the answers with their partners.The purpose of this task is to encourage students to express their thoughts in English.Post-readingAfter our learning ,we should know that Language is learned by communication.
