Likewise, the Remote Support Client component also communicates over HTTPS/443 to submit incidents to and retrieve ntitlement information from the HP

14、 Support Center. HTTPS provides encryption for confidentiality of software configuration data collected from the CMS and transferred to HP. Even though this chapter focuses on configuring RSSWM, it is advisable to configure your firewall for both communication channels (RSSWM and Remote Support Clie

20、als Remote Support Pack (RSP) version A.05.05 to A.0.1. Removing HP ISEE from an HP-UX Managed SystemThese steps are required ONLY if you already have HP Instant Support Enterprise Edition installed on your managed system. If you do not have ISEE installed on your managed system, you can ski

21、p this section.To remove ISEE, complete the following steps:1. Log on to the monitored system as root (admin privileges).2. Run the following command on each managed system:/usr/sbin/swremove ISEEPlatformIf the swremove process is successful, a message appears confirming the removal of the software.

22、 Check your log files to verify that there are no errors.If the swremove process does not complete successfully, consult the resulting log file. It may indicate that there are ISEE Platform dependencies that prevented success. Components such as VAEH, Availability Measure, or CCMon are optional Busi

23、ness Support Software components, but they must be removed before the ISEE Platform can complete uninstallation.For each Business Support Software component listed in the log file, run swremove. 24、up any files that you want to keep (i.e. repository,log files, configuration files, certificate files, etc.). If they are removed or overwritten during the re-installation, you can restore them.To remove the HP WBEM Services software, run the HP-UX swremove command.# swremove WBEMServicesIf the swre

When the ISEE installation is aborted or corrupted, or the uninstallation is not successful, for reasons related to t

44、tware installed. 1.7 Installation of OpenSSL softwareInstalling OpenSSLTo install OpenSSL, complete the following steps:1. Log in as superuser.2. Insert the software CD into the appropriate drive if you are installing from the Application Release CD. If you are downloading the software package from

45、the Software Depot, download the depot and follow the instructions provided in the installation page for OpenSSL.3. Enter the following command to install OpenSSL:$ swinstall -s <fully-qualified depot source path> OpenSSLThe swinstall command installs the OpenSSL software in the /opt/openssl d

46、irectory. It places the sample codes in the /opt/openssl/src directory.Note:HP-UX 11i v1 customers must install the GOLDQPK11i QPK that is delivered on the Support Plus media.
