Students sing“The more we get together ” to cheer them up, and review the structure “the + 比較級,the+ 比較級 ” , then lead them to review the rules of theco
5、mparative and superlative degree of adjectives what learned last topic. Next let them watch a piece of news which is from our class reporter Huang Xiaochang, and get the information from it. Divide them into two groups Group1 and Group2, and let students have a competition in class. Step2 Presentati

At first, look at our learning aims:(1)Learn some new words and phrases:earthquake, province, missing, mobile, phone, lose ones life, protect sb. from, ask sb. for help ;(2)Make sentences with the comparative and superlative degree of adjectives correctly ;(3)After learning the earthquake to ch
7、erish our lives.2. Self study 1First, read the new words by themselves, and check them in a minute. Which group answers quickly and right and give them two points. Next translate “四川省發(fā)生了一場地震” into two similar sentences inEnglish, and let students pay attention to the past tense of “strike”, then mak
8、e a sentences許多人在九寨溝地震中失蹤 and give them points which group is better. Then play a word game : Students should say in Chinese as quickly as possible when it points to the new words . Which group answers quickly and right and give them two points.Next ask them “What happenedto Jiuzhaigou?” showsome ph
