The Black Mountain poets, sometimes called projectivist poets, were a group of mid-
2、20th century American avant-garde or postmodern poets centered on Black Mountain College.The rise was in the early 1950s, and the major poets included Charles Olson, Denise Levertov, Robert Ducan and Robert Creeley. Black Mountain CollegeIt was found in the 1930s as a liberal educational center.It w
3、as near Asheville, North Carolina.In the 1950s it became a focus for all dissidents in arts, literature, and matters of academic interest in general.Its life was short that it closed in 1957 after only 24 years.It was experimental by nature and committed to an interdisciplinary approach, attracting

8、arvard in 1946, but eventually took his BA fromBlack Mountain Collegein 1955. He edited the Black Mountain Review;He published widely in the 1950s, became famous in the sixties, and has been teaching at some universities.
