1、ENGINEERING STANDARDS SECTION 3 - ELECTRICAL 3.10.3. SPECIFICATION & APPLICATION GUIDE Wiring within the food preparation areas will be carried out in single core LSF cables run either in galvanised conduits run flush within the building finishes, or in stainless steel conduit run 25mm clear of the

3、tlets will be protected by RCDs of 30mA trip setting with a maximum trip time of 30msecs. Outlets feeding fridges and freezers must not be fed via RCDs. To prevent other items of equipment being connected to such outlets, a non-standard pin-configuration should be used. Circuits feeding cold rooms,
4、fridges, freezers, etc, should be regarded as critical loads and fed from the standby generator supply. Final connections to items of fixed equipment will be via IP56 isolators with flexible LSF sheathed steel conduit to the equipment. Circuit breakers feeding such equipment will be fitted with eart

Island type cooking appliances, and plant items such as dough mixers where there is a risk of operatives becoming trapped in moving parts, should be fed from contractor controlled circuits with local knockoff emergency stop buttons. Hot water heaters are to be burst-fired thyristor

Luminaires installed in cold rooms will be protected to IP56 standard and fitted with low temperature control gear suitable for use in the temperature range to be found in the particular room. All steel workbenches (whether mobile or fixed), metallic items of fixed equipment, etc, must be
8、solidly bonded back to the local panelboard earth bar. Mobile work benches should be bonded by means of pigtail flex terminating in a suitable alligator clip for connection to the bench.InterContinental Hotels Group - Asia Pacific2009-REV-01 All Rights Reserved182 ENGINEERING STANDARDS SECTION 3 - E
