Improve the students listening ability.教學流程Step 1 Warming upAsk the stu

2、dents the following questions: What s the weather like todayWhat day is it today? What s the date today? etc.設計意圖 : 營造課堂氛圍,融洽師生關系。Step 2 Teaching the wordsShow four pictures and rememberthe weather of the four seasons - hot, warm, cool, cold, freezing. Then label the drawing with the words in the bo

3、x.設計意圖:通過圖片展示,當堂練習,鞏固 hot, warm, cool, cold, freezing.Step 3 Working in pairsAsk and answer according to Part 8. For example,- What s the temperature?- It s 20 degrees. It s warm.- What s the weather like?- It s warm and wet.設計意圖:通過雙人活動,把所學知識給予運用。Step 4 Asking and answeringLook at the pictures and a

4、nswer the questions: How many seasons/months are there in a year? What are they? 設計意圖:為下面的聽力練習作鋪墊。Step 5 ListeningListen and choose the correct months.Listen again and check (V) the true sentences.設計意圖:通過專項訓練,鞏固聽力技能。Step 6 ExercisesComplete the exercises in Parts 9 & 11.設計意圖:通過練習,讓有關天氣知識得到進一步地運用和鞏固。

7、 possible, probably andpossibly.According to the sentence Its great fun to play this game. But it may bedangerous to play it. Get the students to complete Part 5. Then compareddoesn t snow very often but people always hope it with the words may, might, possible, probably and possibly.設計意圖: 讓學生明白 mig

8、ht 是 may 的過去式, 但表示可能性時沒有 很大區(qū)別,只是表示一般將來的可能性時, might 比 may 的可能性要小。 因為 might 和 may 都是情態(tài)動詞, 所以, 他們后面應加動詞原形,即 might/may + do sth.possible, possibly, probably 使用時應該按 以下要求表示:It is possible that It is possible to do sth.Subject + will probably/possibly + do sth. probably 表示的可能性比possibly 要大。Step 11 Exercises

Finally, getthe students to write a message to a friend who wants to visit China afterclass.設計意圖:通過任務型學習,讓學生對整個模塊的知識加以鞏固
