1、CourseScheduleforAdultEnglish成人英語教學設計課程及教材描述本課程是成人高校大專非英語專業(yè)的基礎課程之一,期末全市統(tǒng)一考試。新突出時代特色、天津特色和應用性,反映學員的生活和工作實際。內(nèi)容上短文與對話圍繞同一主題,盡量體現(xiàn)同一語法現(xiàn)象。短文語言都較為規(guī)范,既有美國英語也有英國英語。為方便學習和降低難度,除了在詞匯表中出現(xiàn)生詞外,還在課文旁注釋詞義。所選材料具有時代性、知識性,兼顧趣味性與可思性。每三單元后有一個練習課。書后附有教參,包括背景知識介紹、譯文、講解等內(nèi)容。練習少而精,重口語。教學對象:本課程是用成人高校大專非英語專業(yè)的學生。課時安排:本課程為一學期課程。
2、每周6個課時。時間關系,每個單元4課時。每三單元后一次練習課。前兩課時為課文講解,后兩課時做課后練習。_L,/、/、.v教學方式:精講多練。對課文中常用詞匯、語法給予精當?shù)慕忉?、總結;對語法強調(diào)模仿運用,避免過多語法講解。強調(diào)練習與每課課文密切配合,并聯(lián)系前面課文內(nèi)容。句型操練(DRILLS)通過舉一反三的口頭盤練,著重讓學員掌握英語口語中的常見句型、詞組或某種語法現(xiàn)象。練習時通過各種形式提高學員的英語語言水平和綜合能力。使學員每學完一課課文,便可以立即運用到實踐中去。測試:平時四個成績,期末全市統(tǒng)一考試。Unit1GreetingandIntroduction第一單元問候與介紹Aimsand

6、的性質和狀態(tài),表語也稱為主語補語。詳解請參考本課語法。課文中有不少同樣結構的句子。如:ThisisMissWang,oursalesmanager.AndyoujustcallmeSophie,asIsaid.call在這里意為“稱呼”,是動詞。它還當“打電話”講。e.g.PleasetellhimthatIcalledhim.請告訴他我給他打了電話。call還是名詞。如:atelephonecall一個電話(即一次通話)Hemajorsinforeigntrade.這句的結構也屬于英語簡單句五種基本句型之一,即主語加謂語動詞。稱為基本句型,因為它們只是框架,還可以有更豐富的成分。此句使用的時
7、態(tài)是一般現(xiàn)在時。majors是動詞major的第三人稱單數(shù)形式。初次見面和正式場合的問候一般用Howdoyoudo?比較隨意時說Hello.或Hi.初次見面還要說Gladtomeetyou.之類的客氣話?;卮饡r均可重復原問話,語調(diào)稍做改變。6Thatsverykindofyou.或Itsveryniceofyou.等是類似Thankyou.的感謝的話,回答時說:別客氣。Youarewelcome.愿意效勞。Itsa/mypleasure.不必客氣。Dontmentionit.注意翻譯這類句子或短語時只要整體表達,別逐字漢譯。7Likemostyoungpeopleofmyage,Ilikeli
8、steningtopopmusic.前面的like是介詞(prep.),意為“象一樣”而非動詞“喜歡”。又如:Sophieshairstyleisquitenew,likeyours.而后面的like是動詞,意為“喜愛”,后面跟名詞或動名詞作賓語。同樣用法的還有后面的enjoy和lookforwardto。e.g.Thetwinsisterslooklikeeachotherverymuch.這對孿生姐妹長得很相象。Iliketoimagine(想象)myselfcanflylikeabird.Ilikepainting.Ienjoyplaygoinggreatly.Ivebeenlookin
9、gforwardtothismomentforyears.Lookingforwardtoseeingyousoon.Ihadadreamthat這句話的時態(tài)是一般過去時。Had是have的過去式。Andyouhavemademydreamcometrue.這句話使用的時態(tài)是現(xiàn)在完成時。Culturalbackground文化背景GreetingsandIntroductionsareanessentialaspectofbothBritishandUSculturetheimportanceofwhichcanneverbeoveremphasized.Introducingyourself

17、了英語之外我們還學習法語。WeallwenttothepartyexceptJohn.除了約翰我們都去了派隊。(約翰沒去。)WhatstheweatherlikeinTianjin?這是一句詢問天氣的最常用的句子。Peoplerushtothebeachtogetridoftheheatwaves.人們都迫不及待地沖向海灘以擺脫熱浪。此句中的“getridof”意為“擺脫”還可以說:“Itsdifficulttogetridofthebadhabitsoquickly.”Itsthemostcommonsubjectofconversation.談論天氣是最普通的話題。subject在此句中譯
