EstimatetheaccountsreceivablebalancebasedonthepastcollectionexperienceEstimateinventoriesbasedonthetypicalinventorylevels.EstimatetheplannedpurchaseofnewplantandequipmentlessdepreciationAccountspayableforecastshouldincorporatethecompany’splannedpurchasesofrawmaterialsanditspaymentpractices36ProjectedFinancialStatementsCashandNotespayableshouldbeadjustedtobalancebothsidesofthebalancesheet.Cashaccountissetatanamountthatthecompanybelievestobeareasonableworkingbalance.Oncethecashaccountisforecasted,thebankloanpayablecanbecalculatedtofindtheamountthatmakesthebalancesheetbalance.Thisisknownasthe“plug”figure.Thisbalancingfigurerepresentstheclient’sfundingrequirementtosupporttheforecastedlevelofassets.37ProjectedFinancialStatementsForecastsshouldbeconstructedwithdifferentbasicassumptions.Sensitivityanalysiscouldtestthefollowing:1.
