本節(jié)課為Unit5的最后一節(jié)課,學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了有關(guān)家庭成員的詞匯以及構(gòu)成句子的基本語(yǔ)法,本節(jié)課要求學(xué)生根據(jù)所學(xué)知識(shí)進(jìn)行聽(tīng)說(shuō)綜合訓(xùn)練。

1.學(xué)生能夠通過(guò)聽(tīng)力理解簡(jiǎn)短的對(duì)話(huà),并回答問(wèn)題

2.While-listening:Playtheaudioorvideoclipofashortconversation(e.g.betweentwofriendsorsiblings)andaskthestudentstolistencarefullyandanswersomequestionsrelatedtotheconversation,suchas"Whoaretheytalkingabout?","Whatdoeshe/shelooklike?","Whatdoeshe/sheliketodo?","Whatishis/herfavoritefood?",etc.Setupsomeindividual,pairorgroupactivitiestoreinforcethelisteningtask,suchasrole-play,quizgame,matchinggame,etc.

2.Practice:Dividethestudentsintopairsorgroupsandaskthemtotaketurnsdescribingeachother'sappearanceandpersonality.Encouragethemtousetheadjectivesandphrasestheyhavelearnedandtogiveexamplestosupporttheirdescriptions.E.g."Mypartneristallandslim.Shehaslonghairandwearsglasses.Sheisveryfunnyandlikestotelljokes.Shealsoplaysbasketballwellandoftenwinsthegames."

Introduction(10minutes):
1.Startwithagamecalled"What'smyresponsibility?"Studentswillbegivenacardwitharole,taskorresponsibilityinthecommunity(e.g.recycling,voting,volunteering,payingtaxes,followingrules,etc.)Theyhavetomingleintheclassroomandaskeachotheryesornoquestionsuntiltheyfigureouttheirresponsibility.
2.Askthestudentswhatitmeanstobearesponsiblecitizen.Writetheirideasonthewhiteboard.
Presentation(20minutes):
