ReviewofUnits14詞句精講精練【詞匯精講】1.playplay作動(dòng)詞時(shí),有以下幾種常見用法:(1)玩耍。此時(shí)play是不及物動(dòng)詞,后面不能直接接賓語。例如:Thegirlsoftenplayinthestreet.這些女孩們經(jīng)常在街上玩耍。(2)打球。后面直接接表示球類的名詞。例如:playbasketball打籃球playvolleyball打排球playtennis打網(wǎng)球(3)彈奏西洋樂器。后面接定冠詞the,再加表示西洋樂器的名詞。例如:playthepiano彈鋼琴playtheviolin拉小提琴(4)玩弄;與……玩耍。后接介詞with。例如:Sheoftenplayswithherlittlesister.她經(jīng)常和她的小妹妹一起玩。Don’tplaywithfire.別玩火。2.begoodfor/begoodto/begoodat(1)begoodfor意為“對(duì)……有好處,對(duì)……有益處”,介詞for后接名詞或代詞。其反義詞為bebadfor,意為“對(duì)……有害處”。例如:Junkfoodisnotgoodforourhealth.垃圾食品對(duì)我們的健康沒有好處。Smokingisbadforyou.吸煙對(duì)你有害。(2)begoodto“對(duì)……好”,其反義短語為bebadto“對(duì)……不好”。介詞to之后一般接表示人的名詞或代詞。例如:Sheisverygoodtous.她對(duì)我們很好。Thebossisbadtohisworkers.那個(gè)老板對(duì)他的工人不好。(3)begoodat“在……方面擅長(zhǎng)”,介詞at后面常接名詞、代詞或動(dòng)詞ing形式,同義短語為dowellin。例如:SheisgoodatEnglishandChinese.=ShedoeswellinEnglishandChinese.她擅長(zhǎng)英語和漢語。3.wear;puton;dress與in(1)wear表示穿戴的狀態(tài),wear較正式,可用于進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài),其賓語可以是衣帽,也可以是飾物、獎(jiǎng)?wù)碌?。例如:Shewaswearingaflowerinherhair.她頭上戴了一朵花。(2)puton表示穿的動(dòng)作,后面接衣服、鞋帽等,可以用于進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)。例如:Look!Tomisputtingonhisclothes.看!湯姆正在穿衣服。(3)dress既可以指穿衣的動(dòng)作,后面接人作賓語,又可用其系表結(jié)構(gòu)bedressedin來表示穿的狀態(tài),后面可接表示衣物或顏色的名詞。例如:Hewasdressedinadarksuitatthemeeting.他在會(huì)議上穿了一套深色的西裝。(4)in表示穿戴的狀態(tài),后面可接表示顏色的詞或衣物名詞作賓語。例如:Shelooksbeautifulintheclothes.她穿這件衣服看起來很漂亮。4.talk;speak;say與tell(1)talk意為“談話”,當(dāng)talk作此意講時(shí),不強(qiáng)調(diào)內(nèi)容,一般指說的動(dòng)作,其后常接介詞to和with,表示“與……談話”;接介詞about時(shí)表示“談?wù)摗薄@纾篔immyandBilloftentalkaboutputergames.吉姆和比爾經(jīng)常談?wù)撾娔X游戲。MaryistalkingwithMr.GreeninEnglish.瑪麗正在用英語和格林先生交談。(2)speak一詞強(qiáng)調(diào)說話的能力、對(duì)象和方式。用作及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)后接表示語言的名詞作賓語;用作不及物動(dòng)詞時(shí),后接介詞to,表示“與……講話”,一般用于打用語中或較正式的情況下。例如:TheycanspeakChinese.他們會(huì)說中文。MayIspeaktoMr.Black?我能和布萊克先生講話嗎?(3)say用作及物動(dòng)詞,強(qiáng)調(diào)說的內(nèi)容。若指“對(duì)某人說”用saytosb.來表示。例如:CanyousayitinEnglish?你能用英語說它嗎?(4)tell經(jīng)常作及物動(dòng)詞,意為“講述,告訴”,后常接雙賓語,側(cè)重把一件事情傳達(dá)給別人。常用結(jié)構(gòu)是tellsb.todosth.,意為“告訴某人做某事”,其否定形式為tellsb.nottodosth.,意為“告訴某人不要做某事”“告訴某人關(guān)于某事”。例如:Motheroftentellsmenottoreadinbed.媽媽經(jīng)常告訴我不要躺在床上看書。5.watch;look;see與read(1)watch作動(dòng)詞時(shí),意為“看”。一般指看動(dòng)態(tài)的東西,例如:節(jié)目、比賽等。例如:watchTV看電視watchafootballmatch看足球比賽(2)look意為“看”,指看的動(dòng)作。例如:Look!Thechildrenareplayingontheplayground.看!孩子們?cè)诓賵?chǎng)上玩。
