nowclaimstoofferaccesstoeverypaywalledarticlepublishedsince2022.The

successofSci-Hub,whichreliesonresearcherspassingoncopiestheyhavethemselves

legallyaccessed,showsthelegalecosystemhaslostlegitimacyamongitsusersand

mustbetransformedsothatitworksforallparticipants.

InBritainthemovetowardsopenaccesspublishinghasbeendrivenbyfunding

bodies.Insomewaysithasbeenverysuccessful.MorethanhalfofallBritish
