Angela:Well,growingupinCanadawhenIwasgoingtohighschool,forexample,IwasknownasAngelatotheoutsideworld,andasSun-Kyungathome.Iwouldwavehellotomyteachers,butbowtomyparents'Koreanfriendswhentheyvisitedourhome.

Angela:Yes,definitely.Inhighschool,Iwasexpectedtolookstraightintheeyesofmyteachersandtotalkopenlywiththem.ButwhenKoreansspoketome,Iwasexpectedtolookatmyfeetandtobeshyandsilent.
