2010年研究生考試復(fù)試英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)須知

按照筆者的了解以及歷屆考研學(xué)生的反饋，在英語(yǔ)口試中，普通會(huì)涉及以下幾個(gè)話題：自我推薦，家庭成員、故鄉(xiāng)、本來(lái)的院校，考研緣故，未來(lái)計(jì)劃(學(xué)習(xí)、職業(yè))。筆者對(duì)這些話題舉行梳理，希翼廣大考生有所了解并做好充足的決定，順利通過(guò)英語(yǔ)口試。

1.自我推薦篇(重點(diǎn))?；旧厦總€(gè)院校每個(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè)的口試中都會(huì)涉及這一方面?？脊倨鋵?shí)是要借此了解你的口頭表達(dá)能力以及你的報(bào)名表之外的一些信息。自我推薦時(shí)光以2-3分鐘為宜。思路要清晰，要突出重點(diǎn)，口語(yǔ)盡量流利(不要太流利了，有背誦之嫌)。

1)考官要求你作自我推薦時(shí)，不要用…letmeintroducemyselfbriefly/pleaseallowmetointroducemyselftoyou等句子，重復(fù)、啰嗦。開(kāi)始可以只用一句話引入：Dearprofessors,Ifeelsogladtomeetallofyouhere。然后就可以進(jìn)入主題，推薦姓名、年齡等等。

2)自我推薦的主體內(nèi)容。

①姓名。推薦自己姓名時(shí)，發(fā)音一定要準(zhǔn)(南方考生要多加注重)。

②年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名后帶過(guò)(IamXXX,25yearsold)。

③本來(lái)的院校、專(zhuān)業(yè)。注重：一定要把本來(lái)小學(xué)的英文名稱(chēng)、專(zhuān)業(yè)的英文名稱(chēng)弄清晰(尤其是跨校、跨專(zhuān)業(yè)的學(xué)生)。

所屬的公司、職位。注重：在職考生則應(yīng)將自己公司、自己職位/職稱(chēng)的英文名稱(chēng)弄明了。

④性格、能力?？梢灾貜?qiáng)調(diào)你的個(gè)性對(duì)你報(bào)考的專(zhuān)業(yè)有何積極的作用。倘若報(bào)考的是學(xué)術(shù)性的專(zhuān)業(yè)，可以說(shuō)自己仔細(xì)(carefully，detail-oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(shí)(steady)等；倘若是研究性、應(yīng)用性更強(qiáng)一點(diǎn)的專(zhuān)業(yè)，可以說(shuō)自己負(fù)責(zé)(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。

其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容詞有：active,aggressive(有進(jìn)取心的)，adaptable,amicable(友好的)，analytical(善于分析的)，cooperative,creative,disciplined,dutiful,energetic,faithful,gentle,independent(有主張的)，innovative,motivated,modest,objective,precise,punctual,precise(一絲不茍的)，temperate等等。

在職考生或有過(guò)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)的考生還可以強(qiáng)調(diào)一下你的工作成績(jī)，如：AstheassistanttotheGeneralMangerofXXXCompany,Ihavehelpedtonegotiatea$200,000dealforthecorporation。

⑤興趣。AllworkandnoplaymakeJackadullboy.除了強(qiáng)調(diào)你的學(xué)習(xí)的重視，同時(shí)也要避免給考官一種“書(shū)呆子”的感覺(jué)。普通可以從體育、音樂(lè)、電影等方面來(lái)說(shuō)，同時(shí)要容易說(shuō)明這些興趣對(duì)你的積極意義(buildmybody,relaxmyself,openmymind…)；注重避免提到那些可能引起考官反感的興趣，如：playingcomputergames，watchingTV等。

⑥你對(duì)報(bào)考的專(zhuān)業(yè)有興趣(beinterestedin/befascinatedwith/beobsessedwith…)，可適當(dāng)舉出一些例子，如常常看相關(guān)的書(shū)籍、論文、文章、新聞等。在職考生可以強(qiáng)調(diào)知識(shí)教誨對(duì)工作的影響：Inmywork,Ifinditnecessarytobroadenmyhorizonsincommunication.That’swhyIlongforenteringyourprestigiousuniversity。

3)結(jié)束時(shí)可以用說(shuō)：That’sallaboutme./Well,that’swhoIam.Thanksforyourattention。

2.家庭、故鄉(xiāng)、小學(xué)篇。考官其實(shí)是要通過(guò)你的家庭、故鄉(xiāng)或小學(xué)來(lái)了解你的成長(zhǎng)的環(huán)境。

1)家庭。需要注重的是，考官并不是為了做人口調(diào)查而提出這個(gè)問(wèn)題的，所以應(yīng)該避免流水賬似地推薦家庭成員；要盡量說(shuō)明家人(尤其是父母)對(duì)你造成哪些方面(性格、職業(yè)計(jì)劃、做事風(fēng)格等)良好的影響?？梢詤⒖家韵戮涫浇Y(jié)構(gòu)：Justlikemyfather,Iamespeciallyinterestedinhistory./Thoughmyfatherisanordinaryworker,hisresponsibleattitudetowardsworkhasagreatinfluenceonme。

2)故鄉(xiāng)。正所謂“一方水土養(yǎng)育一方人”，考官實(shí)際上是想從你對(duì)故鄉(xiāng)的推薦中找出有關(guān)你性格、志向的線索。可以從歷史、歷史人物、聞名景點(diǎn)、獨(dú)特風(fēng)俗或特產(chǎn)等方面來(lái)容易推薦，注重要表達(dá)熱愛(ài)故鄉(xiāng)的情感。

3)小學(xué)。倘若是本校考生的話，在自我推薦中就可以點(diǎn)到(拉近跟考官的關(guān)系)。倘若是外校，考官通常會(huì)問(wèn)：Whydidyouchooseouruniversity?那么我們就可以說(shuō)說(shuō)它與報(bào)考院校之間的異同，然后說(shuō)明為什么你挑選這個(gè)小學(xué)(Idolovetheatmosphereinyouruniversity.Itisfullofyouthfulspirits。)；要注重的是：一定要說(shuō)明你對(duì)在本來(lái)的院校采納教誨心存感激之情appreciation(從好的方面說(shuō)一說(shuō))，著重強(qiáng)調(diào)希翼能被錄取，表達(dá)自己堅(jiān)定的決心、展望一下未來(lái)。
