同學(xué)們都知道“whitelie”,白色的謊言,即“善意的謊言”。其實英文中還有很多

與white有關(guān)的表達,理解起來都不可直譯,下面我們就一起來看看吧!

l.awhitenight不是指夜晚被月光籠罩呈現(xiàn)白色,而是指“不眠之夜;失眠的晚

上”。另外awhitenight還可被用來指“護花使者”。

2.awhiteday,既然有awhitenight,那肯定就有awhiteday,很顯然,這不是"白天”

的意思。awhiteday通常是指“吉利的日子潢道吉日;情人節(jié)”等。

3.awhitehat白色的帽子,除了這個意思外,awhitehat還有另一個意思。在美國

太極拳

太極拳原名長拳、綿拳、八門五步等,至清朝乾嘉年間王宗岳著《太極拳論》

后,世人才統(tǒng)一以太極拳名之。

“太極”本是中國傳統(tǒng)哲學(xué)中的一個術(shù)語,源自《周易》。在宋朝時,周敦頤著寫

《太極圖說》,并在其所繪的“太極圖”中把“太極”畫成一個圓圈狀。

受到圖畫的啟發(fā),太極拳的發(fā)明者們,以在空中不停地畫圓為太極拳貫穿始終

的動作,同時吸取傳統(tǒng)氣功、道教呼吸練習中以意引氣、以靜制動的功法,再結(jié)合其

他拳術(shù)的擊打套路,創(chuàng)制出了太極拳。

太極拳最大的特點就是以柔克剛。太極拳在演練時,動作舒展、柔緩,似乎絲毫

不具攻擊力。

但是,當太極拳手進入實戰(zhàn)狀態(tài)時,便會以柔緩的動作巧妙地化解對方的攻擊

力,然后借力打力,以突然爆發(fā)的剛勁,將對手擊倒或擊退。

現(xiàn)代醫(yī)學(xué)證實,長期練習太極拳,對于改善人們的心肺功能,增強體質(zhì),甚至延年

益壽都有顯著的功效。
