Unit4 Why don t you talk to your parents Section A 3a3c河間市第六中學(xué) 付東海教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1.掌握以下單詞和短語(yǔ):relation ,communication ,argue ,cloud, elder, instead, whatever, nervous, offer, proper, secondly, communicate, explain, clear, copy, return, anymore, get on with。2.閱讀短文,能按要求找到相應(yīng)的信息。3.通過(guò)閱讀訓(xùn)練提高學(xué)生們的閱讀能力。4.了解如果在生活中發(fā)生了一些不盡如人意的問(wèn)題,應(yīng)當(dāng)如何面對(duì)并理性地去解決。 教學(xué)內(nèi)容: 1短文閱讀與技巧,關(guān)注學(xué)生心理健康和情感教育,學(xué)生合理表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)和看法。2.學(xué)習(xí)could/should的用法,運(yùn)用句型Why don t you.? 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn):1.閱讀短文,提高獲取相關(guān)信息的能力,提高閱讀能力。 2.掌握本部分出現(xiàn)的生詞和詞組,達(dá)到熟練運(yùn)用的目標(biāo)。3.理解并運(yùn)用所學(xué)的詞匯及表達(dá)方式。 教學(xué)思路:本課教學(xué)內(nèi)容是八年級(jí)下Unit 4 第二課時(shí),是一節(jié)閱讀和語(yǔ)法課。在閱讀部分要訓(xùn)練學(xué)生閱讀技能,涵蓋交際、語(yǔ)法、詞匯和知識(shí)點(diǎn)等,教會(huì)學(xué)生如何處理人際關(guān)系、健康成長(zhǎng)等深層含義。閱讀中對(duì)不會(huì)的詞要進(jìn)行猜測(cè),練習(xí)提高猜測(cè)詞義的能力。教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備: 準(zhǔn)備多媒體課件。教學(xué)過(guò)程:Step One . Lead inT: In our daily life, we can meet all kinds of people and things. Maybe these things cause lots of sadness or pressure. So we must have the proper ideas to deal with them. We can also communicate with our parents or friends to relax ourselves. Communicating with others can make our relations better. Step Two. DiscussionShow the problems on the screen and ask the students to give their advice. Then ask them to compare their advice with their partners and decide whether the advice is good or bad. Ask someone to report their advice.1. Im a girl. Im very shy. Advice:2. I cant study well. I have too much homework. Advice: 3.I had a fight with my best friend. What should I do? Advice: 4.I love animals very much. But my parents wont let me have a pet. Advice:5.I cant get on with my sister. We always fight. My problem is that I cant get on with my family. 本句含有表語(yǔ)從句,I cant get on with my family在句子中作表語(yǔ),對(duì)My problem進(jìn)行說(shuō)明。get on (along) with sb.表示“和某人相處”。 get on (along) well with sb.表示“和某人相處得融洽”,反義詞組get on badly with sb.表示“和某人相處得不融洽”。He gets on well with his boss.他和他的老板相處得很好。Mrs. Black gets along well with her neighbors.布萊克夫人和鄰居們相處得很好?!就卣埂縢et on with sth. 表示“某事進(jìn)展、進(jìn)行”的意思。How are you getting on with your studies?你的學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)展得怎樣?2. When they argue, its like a big, black cloud hanging over our home. argue v.爭(zhēng)論;爭(zhēng)吵 。argue用作不及物動(dòng)詞時(shí),與介詞with連用,后跟sb.,意為“與某人爭(zhēng)論/爭(zhēng)吵”。 We argued with them for a long time.我們和他們爭(zhēng)論了好長(zhǎng)時(shí)間。 Dont argue with your classmates.別和你的同學(xué)爭(zhēng)吵。 【拓展】argue與介詞about連用,后跟sth.,意為“為而爭(zhēng)論(爭(zhēng)吵)”。 They are always arguing about money.他們總是為錢(qián)爭(zhēng)吵。 hang over意為“掛在上;籠罩”。The crescent of a new moon hung over the mulberry in the yard.一彎新月高懸在院子里的桑樹(shù)之上。3. Also, my elder brother is not very nice to me. elder的意思是“年長(zhǎng)的”,指家庭里兩個(gè)成員中年齡較長(zhǎng)的,只用作定語(yǔ),不用作表語(yǔ)。elder也可以用作名詞,其復(fù)數(shù)形式表示“長(zhǎng)者,長(zhǎng)輩”。He is my elder brother.他是我的哥哥。We should respect our elders.我們應(yīng)該尊重長(zhǎng)輩?!就卣埂縪lder是形容詞old 的比較級(jí)形式,指年齡較大、較老,也指較舊??梢耘cthan連用。Tom is two years older than John.湯姆比約翰大兩歲。This bike is older than that one.這輛自行車(chē)比那輛舊。4.He always refuses to let me watch my favorite TV show. refuse v.拒絕。refuse to do sth.拒絕做某事。If he offers you a good suggestion, dont refuse it.如果他向你提出一個(gè)好建議,你不要拒絕。She refused to let me go.她拒絕讓我走?!就卣埂縭efuse sb. sth. 表示“拒絕某人某事”。5.Instead he watches whatever he wants until late at night. instead是副詞,意為“代替,頂替,反而,卻”。I dont like blue.
