A decadeago, the only destinationsof studying a

3、broad were in WesternEurope, butthere are many places for students to study abroad all over the world now(Rooney 2).Why students want to study abroad? For the reason, they can experiencemany amazing things. Studying abroad is not only to participate in classes atuniversity but also to stay in differ

4、ent cultures and languages. To know otherculturesis interesting,becausebad mannersin a countryare sometimesnormal things in the other. If you can speak more languages, we can talk tomany people. Nowadays, it is very important to communicate with people whoare from othercountriesbecauseof businessesa

5、nd to understandothercultures. This experience will positively affect ones future. Furthermore, waysof thinking and knowledge will be wide and flexible. Therefore, studying abroadhas many benefits. However, most students who desire to study abroad tendto think that they can experienceonly good thing

9、uicide ratherthan die by accidents. We meet with bad experiences because of the gap ofcultures and languages, or we just do not suit the country. We cannot predictuntil we go to the country and stay. In addition, these bad experiences affectour study. Moreover,the worse situationsare, the more we fe

10、el homesick.Consequently,everythingmakesus frustrated.Peoplewho wantto studyabroad have to know both good and bad sides.There are mainly three advantages of studying abroad, which are to beable to learn foreign language, experience fun things, and study much harderthan doing in their own countries.

14、gn studentscan learn another language. The more they improve their language skills, themoretheycan enjoytheirlivesandmakemanyfriendswhoare nativespeakers.What do you expect when you travel abroad? You will expect differentexperiences from your culture. Of course, you can feel difference, but if your

15、eally want to experience different culture, you have to stay there. Otherwiseyou will not understandthe culture in depth. Another advantageof studyingabroad is that you can experience many interesting things. For example, thereare different religions in different countries. Mostly, East Asian countr

She mentions what she got and feltsomething warm from this country and people.In addition, she said that shewas discriminated by American students at university. However, people whodiscriminated her recovered her.

20、They had not considered her situation whenthey understood what foreign people feel about staying other countries. Finally,sheappealedthat,“Whatwehavetodowhenwecommunicatewithforeigners is not to be ethnocentrism. Everyone is also different even if theyare from same country. Thus, we cannot say that

24、nt to study abroad shouldnot forget that they would also experience sad, hard, and bad things. One ofthe disadvantagesis studentsare alwaysfacingdifficultyof language.Inclasses, students sometimes do not know what the teachers talk about, theydo not know what to do, and they miss very important info

25、rmation. Besides,they hesitate to ask what the other students are doing. Because of that, peopleseem to think that international students cannot speak the language at all sothat peoplesometimesmisunderstandor even ignore them. These differencesmakestudentsannoy andfrustrate.In addition,international students are sometimes discriminated because of their race andethnic groups. Especially, discrimination against Arab people became

For example, it is difficult to enter theUS now and to get any kinds of visa. We have to be checked more than beforeat the airports. Even we can enter the US

Our all data is inputted into the computer.If you had a serious problem in another country, who would you ask to help?You would ask to people who are from same country.You could tell themexactly and they could understand why you are wor

36、ried. You would better tofind someone whom you can trust in another country. However, it is not goodto be with someone who is from same country all the time. Once internationalstudents find someone who is from same country, they seem to be togetheranytime. When they feel homesick, they can encourage

In the caseof language, if students try speaking a language to people who are the nativespeakers, they will improve their language skills. However, if they stick to onlysame ethnic group,of course, to study abroad does not

As the same as language, what they experience and how they take thingswill decide worth of studying abroad. Good experiences make them confident,and they will think that studying abroad is worth doing. On

Eitherthis experiencebecomes advantageor disadvantagedepends on students will and endeavor. Nobody can help them, but everyone can encourage them ifthey
