1、新目標(biāo)英語九年級(jí)Unit 5 It must belong to CarlaSection A 1a -2c賈 錄 懷一、 學(xué)情分析:人教版九年級(jí)Unit5主要學(xué)習(xí)“must”、“might”、“could”和“cant”的用法,學(xué)生在初學(xué)時(shí),會(huì)有一定的難度,這就要求教師在引入的時(shí)候要多舉例,多和平時(shí)的生活相聯(lián)系,從學(xué)生的思維角度想,循序漸進(jìn)的進(jìn)行教學(xué)。二、 單元分析:本單元通過學(xué)習(xí)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞,學(xué)會(huì)推測(cè)和判斷,讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)使用must、 might、could 及cant的用法,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的思維判斷能力。三、 教學(xué)目標(biāo):1.語言技能目標(biāo):(1)能用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞表示推測(cè),如:A:Whose book is

2、 this ? B: It must be johns. There is her name on the corner.(2)能用 belong to 造句,如:It must belong to Mary。 (3) 應(yīng)掌握的句型: It must be - It could be -It might belong be -It cant be -2.語言知識(shí)目標(biāo):(1) 正確使用表示推測(cè)的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞 Is that Mr Brown? No, it cant be(2) 正確應(yīng)用表示否定的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞 Bill, is the pink umbrella Annas? No, it cant b

Hers is purple.3.情感態(tài)度目標(biāo):Learn to infer the owner of things purposefully.4.文化意識(shí)目標(biāo):Enable the Ss to guess the owners of the unknow things using “ must , might , could , and , cant.5.德育目標(biāo):English proverbs for encouraging people to sdudy (勸學(xué)諺語)(1)Confindence in you is the first step on the road

It must be Carla.教學(xué)難點(diǎn): (1)會(huì)用 must might could and cant造句; ( 2 )較流暢的開展對(duì)話。五、 教學(xué)方式任務(wù)型教學(xué)法六、 教學(xué)用具錄音機(jī) 多媒體七、 教學(xué)過程:Step I Revision and Lead-inAsk the Ss to do a game guessing the owners of things.T: In the last unit, we have learn what we should do if we are in an imaginary situation. If we had proble

6、ms, we would ask for advice or help. Now, imagine if you have found something and dont know who the owners is , what would you do?Ss: We would try to guess who the owner is , then give it to him or her.T: Now, boys and girls , close your eyes .Collect some books from the Ss and put them together , a

7、sking the Ss to guess whose books they are.T: OK. Open your eyes, please.Hold up one of the books.T: Whose book is this?SL: Bills?S2: No, its not mine.T: Well, it isnt Bills . He says its not his .S2: Is it isnt?T: So its not Annas book ,. And it cant be Marys . Because I didnt take hers. Then whose

8、 book is it ?SL: Is it Lees?T: Yes. It doesnt belong to Bill, Anna or maria . So it must be Lees.Step II: Brainstorming (1a: P34)T: When we talk about things we are not sure of , we use the worlds could , might, cant and must. It could be Bills. It cant be Marys. It must be Lees . Now , look at 1a o

9、n page 34. what can you see in the picture ?S: We can see a hat , a t-shirt ,a volleyball, a CD, a toy car, a plate , three cups, some books and magazines.T: It isnt hard for us to judge who the things belong to. Read the examples fist , and then write the things you see in the correct columns in th

10、e chant as soon as possible.Then ask the Ss to read their answers.S: The hat, the jacket and the CD , the toy car , the magazines. And the books must belong to fun things. The plane and the cups must belong to kitchen things.Step III Listening and Speaking (1b,1c:P34)Ask the Ss to read the instructi

11、on in 1b.T: Read the instruction and find out what you are asked to do .SL: To match each person with a thing and a reason .T: As you listen , draw lines to connect the person in the first column with the thing in the second column. Then draw another line to match the thing in the second column with

12、 the reason in the third column.Ask the Ss listen to the recording fpr the first time.T: Now listen for the first time to get the key information : who , what and why .Keep them down while listening.Point out the sample answer.T: The name Carla in the first column is connected to volleyball in the s

13、econd column because thats the thing they are talking about. And the word volleyball in the second column is connected with the sentence “She loves volleyball” in the third column.Ask the Ss to the recording again.T: Now listen to the conversation again. This time connect the items in the three colu

14、mn.Play the recording again.T: We heard just now that the owners of the things and the reasons why the things belong to them. Next, make conversation with the help of the information in the chart in 1b. First, youd better read the example in the box.Ask the Ss to make dialogues after the model.T: No

15、w work with a partner and practice making conversation.Step IV:must 100%might 20-80%could 20-80%cant 0T: We know that the four words may all be used in other ways. “must” also mean that it is necessary for someone to do something. For example, “You must get to school early.” The meaning is different

16、 from that in “It must belong to Carla.”Ask the Ss to talk about the other three words in this way, trying to give sentence that show different meanings.SL:In the sentence “It can be johns”, “can” shows the meaning of making inferences. But in the sentence “He can speak French “, it means he is able
