5、ussi on, I decided to try out and started prepari ng the assig nedpiece. Every day, I would practice for at least 45 minu tes. Needlessto say, this waseasier said than done. It required a lot of concentration and will power. Regardless,by the end of the week, I had become more familiar with the musi
6、c.To my surprise, the audition 試聽)process was more pleasant than I hadimagined. As I unpacked my viola, I started to doubt my decision. However, when Ientered Mrs. V s homely office, I felt more relaxed. By the end of my auditi on, Mrs.V said that I had a good cha nee of beco ming the prin cipal vio

16、 a worryi ng trend thatmusic programs are being neglected in schools around the world. Kristi said,“Inrecent years, Ive witnessed many schools completely abolishing their musiceducation programs. This is a big mistake! Schools are losing not only an enrichingsubject, but a subject that can enrich st
17、udents lives and education. ”This needs to change quickly. Music is a gift; it brings people together andclearly places our youth on the right path, giving us the tools to cope with many of life s challenges.
