29、ee AS1990)..1 Ag ing Period Before Test ingSpecime ns in the T42 con diti on will not be required to be tested with in 4 days after completi on of the soluti on heat treatme nt. If, within this period, the manu facturer elects to test specime ns, which thereup on fail to meet the requireme nt

30、s, they can discard these original test results and test additional specimens selected after four days of aging. These specime ns shall be selected from the same locati on in the product ion lot or sample as those tested previously in accorda nee with AMS2355.AMS4027N.2 Ten sile properties sh

38、 dor of the product shall supply all samples for ven dor's tests and shall be resp on sible for the performa nee of all required tests. Purchaser reserves the right to sample and to perform any con firmatory testi ng deemed n ecessary to en sure that the product con forms to specified requireme

39、nts of this specificati on.4.2 Classificati on of Tests4.2.1 Accepta nee TestsCompositi on (3.1), ten sile properties (3.3.1), and tolera nces (3.5) are accepta nee tests and, except for compositi on, shall be performed on each lot.4.2.2 Periodic TestsBending (3.3.2) is a periodic test and shall be

40、performed at a freque ncy selected by the ven dor uni ess freque ncy of testi ng is specified by purchaser. Resp onse to heat treatme nt (3.3.3) is performed whe n specified by purchaser.4.3 Sampli ng and Testi ngShall be in accorda nee with AMS2355.4.4 ReportsThe ven dor of the product shall furnis

41、h with each shipme nt a report stat ing that the product con forms to the compositi on and show ing the nu merical results of tests to determ ine con forma nee to the other accepta nee tests. This report shall in elude the purchase order nu mber, producer lot nu mber(s), AMS4027M, product form, size

42、, and qua ntity. The report shall also ide ntify the producer and the size of the mill product.4.5 Resampli ng and Retesti ngShall be in accorda nee with AMS2355.5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY5.1 Ide ntificati onShall be in accorda nee with ASTM B 666/B 666M.5.2 Packagi ng5.2.1 Product shall be protect

43、ed from damage duri ng storage and shipme nt by a method determ ined by ven dor uni ess specified by purchaser. Examples of typical protective methods in elude but are not limited to in terleavi ng with paper or oili ng of the surface.The product shall be prepared for shipme nt in accorda nee with A
