1、Opera V5 Enhancement eCertificatesSeptember 2008Current eCertificate Process Opera V4 Currently, Marriott Reward members may request eCertificates from M, Worldwide Reservations, or Guest Services in Salt Lake City. At the hotel, associates are required to mark the eCertificate information in IMS as

2、 “in use.” Then, they must manually transfer the certificate number(s) into Opera. Opera allows for entry of up to five (5) certificate numbers per night in the “Award” field. This information is automatically sent to Marriott Rewards during the night audit process.Process Improvements in Version 5

3、It is no longer required to get certificate information from IMS as this information is now accessible directly from Opera. E-Certificates can only be attached to a reservation at a property (1) day prior to arrival and anytime prior to departure. Current certificates that are available for the gues

4、t to use or certificates that are currently in use at other properties are visible in the eCert screen. It is now possible to see the Members points balance from Opera, which can simplify the certificate ordering process.eCertificate “Lamp” on the Reservation Screen ECertificate LampThe lamp is NOT

You can run it for a single date or range of dates, and enter specific data in

18、any of the filter fields to tailor the report to your needs.Use the Filter fields to enter specific data that narrow the report parameters. Notice that the Certificate Status, Rate Code and Payment Type fields all have down arrows, allowing you to pick from a list of valid entries.Reports: J104 MRP
