1、Unit 1 How tall are you?第一課時一、教學(xué)目標與要求:1能夠聽、說、讀、寫形容詞的比較形式:taller, stronger,older, younger和shorter.2能夠用句型:Imcm tall. He/ Shescm tall.描述自己和他人的身高。3能夠用句型Youre taller than your brother. Im older than you.進行年齡和身高的比較。4能夠聽懂教師的指令,按不同年齡、身高排隊,并用所學(xué)語言進行表述。二、教學(xué)重、難點分析1重點是能夠聽、說、讀、寫A Lets learn部分五個形容詞的比較級形式;并能用含有比較級的
2、句型替換關(guān)鍵詞進行問答。2難點是能夠聽、說、讀、寫四會單詞;并能根據(jù)某一情境使用含有形容詞比較級的句型替換關(guān)鍵詞進行問答。長度單位cm的完整形式centimeter的發(fā)音也是本課的教學(xué)難點。三、課前準備1準備主情景圖的教學(xué)掛圖。2準備錄音機、本課時的錄音帶。3準備A Lets learn的單詞卡片。4準備測量身高和體重的工具。四、教學(xué)步驟1GreetingsHello, boys and girls . Happy New Year. And nice to see you again. How are you? Now, after a term, I thin you know much

Whats he/she like?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用學(xué)過的形容詞thin, short, tall, old, young, funny, strong, kind來描述這位老師。當問到學(xué)生Whos your English teacher?時,根據(jù)學(xué)生的回答Shes tall.2師出示測身高與體重的量器,提問學(xué)生:How tall am I , do you know? Guess?幫助學(xué)生用句型Are youcm tall?來猜。師用up和down幫助學(xué)生猜出確切的數(shù)字。3師請出猜中自己身高的
4、學(xué)生,問:How tall are you?幫助他/她測量身高,引導(dǎo)該學(xué)生說:Imcm tall。然后師說:is taller than me.或Im taller than來結(jié)束該游戲。4板書測量的學(xué)生的身高,師盡量用手勢幫助學(xué)生理解以下句子:A is tall. B is taller than A. C is taller than B. D is taller than C.然后板書并領(lǐng)讀tall-taller。5師請出三名較強壯的學(xué)生模仿健美動作,并做比較說:Youre strong. Hes stronger than you.并板書領(lǐng)讀strong-stronger6師在黑板上列
5、出家人的年齡,介紹說:My mother is 44, My father is 46. He is older than her. My aunt is younger than my father, but she is older than my mother. How old is she?然后板書oldolder和young-younger ,讓學(xué)生回答問題。7放Lets learn部分的錄音,學(xué)生聽錄音跟讀。8Lets play師貼出4-5個學(xué)生圖像,描述各人情況,發(fā)指令:Line up from younger to older.Line up from shorter to s
6、horter.9Lets chant.放錄音學(xué)生跟讀。10學(xué)生做活動手冊的配套練習(xí)。第二課時一、教學(xué)目標與要求1能夠聽、說、讀、寫四會掌握句子:How tall are you? Im 164cm tall. Youre shorter than me. Youre 4cm taller than me.并能在情景中正確運用。2能夠聽懂Lets try部分的錄音并選出正確的選項。二、教學(xué)重難點重點與難點是四會掌握句型:How tall are you? Im 164cm tall. Youre shorter than me. Youre 4cm taller than me.三、課前準備:1
7、準備錄音機和本課時的錄音帶。2準備測量身高和體重的數(shù)據(jù)。四、教學(xué)步驟1Warm up2Lets chant.3放Lets try部分的錄音,學(xué)生聽錄音,圈出錄音材料所描述的大象。4師:Im 167cm tall. Youre taller than me. Im shorter than you. How tall are you?該生回答:Im 168cm tall.師接著說:Oh, youre 1cm taller than me.然后板書這組對話并重點領(lǐng)讀最后一個句子。5師:How old are you, then?生: Im 14.師補充:Hes 14 years old. Im 2

Im 14 years older than xxx.再詢問幾個學(xué)生的年齡,并作比較。6學(xué)生年Lets talk部分的對話,師放錄音,學(xué)生跟讀。7學(xué)生兩人一組朗讀對話。8學(xué)生做活動手冊的配套練習(xí)。第三課時一、教學(xué)目標與要求1能夠聽懂、會說Lets read部分的對話并完成填充句子的練習(xí),特別是能看懂、會朗讀句子:I think the little monkey is only 40cm tall. The monkey is shorter but you are funnier.2能學(xué)唱本單元歌曲。二、教學(xué)重難點1重點是使學(xué)生能夠充分理解、正確朗讀對話。2難點是學(xué)

The monkey is shorter but you are funnier.三、課前準備1準備錄音機和本課時錄音帶。2師準備兩張寵物狗的圖片。四、教學(xué)步驟1Warm up跟唱本單元Lets chant的歌謠。學(xué)唱本單元歌曲My pets.2師:The little girl has two pets. What are they?生: A dog and a cat. T: Yes. I have two pets too. Lets have a look . What

Youre 2cm shorter than me.2.師拿出一個氣球,請一名學(xué)生幫忙吹,“Please make it big.”師帶領(lǐng)全班學(xué)生跟隨學(xué)生吹氣球的節(jié)奏喊:Bigger, Bigger, Bigger!呈現(xiàn)該單詞。然后師拿著已經(jīng)吹大的氣球,一點一點放出空氣,說: Smaller, Smaller, Smaller!呈現(xiàn)并領(lǐng)讀這兩個單詞。3師拿出一段皮筋,一邊拉長,一邊說:longer, longer, longer!接著慢慢放松皮筋說:shorter, shorter, short
15、er!然后呈現(xiàn)并領(lǐng)讀這兩個單詞。4師拿一疊作業(yè)本:I have many books. They are heavy.師一本一本往上加時說:heavier, heavier, heavier!領(lǐng)讀該詞,請學(xué)生再次確認從heavy到heavier的詞尾變化。5師出示一組有強烈對比效果的圖片,教學(xué)heavy, thin, thinner.師出示圖片說:look , The boy is heavy. He wants to be thinner. So he does exercises everyday and eats less meat. He is thin after three mon

17、now部分的內(nèi)容。二、教學(xué)重、難點分析1.重點是能夠詢問、回答有關(guān)體重、身高、腳的大小尺寸、頭發(fā)的長度等問題并能書寫相關(guān)句型。2.難點是四會掌握句型以及單位詞。三、課前準備1準備錄音機和本課時的錄音帶。2準備一把軟尺和一把稱。四、教學(xué)步驟1Lets sing。2放Lets try的錄音,學(xué)生聽錄音,填充句子并選出相應(yīng)的圖片。3師說:The boys pencil is 15cm. How about your pencil? How long is your pencil?學(xué)生測量自己的鉛筆并回答。師再舉例練習(xí),如: How long is your English book/ Chinese
18、 book?師接著拿著軟尺并附與動作說:How long is your leg?叫幾名學(xué)生上臺測量,并板書句子:How long is your leg?85cm.師接著繼續(xù)量腳并說:My feet is 27cm. I wear size 35. How big is your feet?學(xué)生明白后回答。師板書句子并帶讀:How big is your feet? I wear size5師放對話的錄音,學(xué)生跟讀。學(xué)生分成兩大組練習(xí)對話。6學(xué)生做活動手冊本部分的配套練習(xí)。第六課時一、教學(xué)目標與要求:1能夠聽、說、認讀Lets read部分的內(nèi)容,特別是能聽、說、認讀單詞:squid, lo
19、bster, shark, seal, whale和單位詞ton, meter, kg, cm;能聽說、認讀短語和句子:can dive into the deep cold water/ jump out of water. Each up to 20cm long.并能正確完成填充句子的練習(xí)。2能夠正確完成Pronunciation中Read and Match連線的練習(xí)。3能夠正確完成Lets check部分聽音圈圖的練習(xí)。二、教學(xué)重、難點分析1重點是讓學(xué)生理解、會讀文內(nèi)容;并能正確理解幾個單位詞:ton, meter, kg, cm.2難點是本部分語言知識含量大,需要幫助學(xué)生充分理解。

I feel sick. I have

Shes tired.”并能進行關(guān)鍵詞的替換操練。二、教學(xué)重、難點1.重點是使學(xué)生熟練掌握五個四會單詞,并能替換句型How does he/she feel? He/ Shes中的關(guān)鍵詞進行問答。2.難點是學(xué)生熟練掌握五個四會單詞。三、課前準備準
34、備本課的單詞卡片。準備錄音機、本課時的錄音帶和教學(xué)掛圖。四、教學(xué)步驟師準備一根長繩,繩上掛些小夾子,把課前制作的些可組成不同句子的單詞卡片夾在夾子上,讓學(xué)生快看拼句子。誰拼得既對又快可以為本組贏一分?!捌淳渥印被顒咏Y(jié)束后獲勝的小組會很興奮,師可指著他們對其他學(xué)生說:Look, they are so excited.讓學(xué)生仔細觀察教師的口形、聽清發(fā)音后跟讀。第五課時一、教學(xué)目標與要求能夠聽、說、認讀句子:How are you, Liu Yun? 44、簡單回答。2難點之一是動詞短語過去的拼寫,二是動詞過去式的發(fā)音。三、課前準備1準備本課時的動詞短語卡片2師課前制作一些過去式規(guī)則變化的動詞短語卡片,如:played the piano, climbed mountains等。3準備前一個星期六或星期日的日歷。4準備錄音機和錄音帶。四、教學(xué)步驟1師課前放本課時Lets chant部分的歌謠。2師生一起吟唱五年級下冊第一單元第一頁的歌謠:What do you do on the weekend?復(fù)習(xí)與周末活動相關(guān)的動詞短語。3師問:What do you usually do on the weekend?幫助學(xué)生回憶學(xué)生學(xué)過的動詞短語并引導(dǎo)學(xué)
