1、Unit 1 How tall are you?教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)A Lets learn一、教材分析: 本節(jié)學(xué)習(xí)的是形容詞比較級(jí),讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)并能運(yùn)用含有比較級(jí)的簡(jiǎn)單句子。在此之前,學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)本節(jié)所有形容詞的原形,這些形容詞是對(duì)人體外貌的描寫(xiě),與學(xué)生密切相關(guān),學(xué)生學(xué)起來(lái)會(huì)感覺(jué)容易且興趣濃。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)與要求:1能夠聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)形容詞的比較形式:taller, stronger, older, younger 和 shorter.2能夠用句型:Imcm tall. He/ Shes cm tall. 描述自己和他人的身高。3能夠用句型 Youre taller than your brother. I

2、m older than you. 進(jìn)行年齡和身高的比較。4能夠聽(tīng)懂教師的指令,按不同年齡、身高排隊(duì),并用所學(xué)語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行表述。三、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn):1重點(diǎn)是能夠聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)A Lets learn 部分五個(gè)形容詞的比較級(jí)形式;并能用含有比較級(jí)的句型替換關(guān)鍵詞進(jìn)行問(wèn)答。2難點(diǎn)是能夠聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)四會(huì)單詞;并能根據(jù)某一情境使用含有形容詞比較級(jí)的句型替換關(guān)鍵詞進(jìn)行問(wèn)答;長(zhǎng)度單位cm的完整形式centimeter的發(fā)音也是本課的教學(xué)難點(diǎn)。四、教學(xué)過(guò)程:Step 1 Warm up.Lets chant.(活躍課堂氣氛,讓學(xué)生盡快地進(jìn)入課堂。)Free talk.T: Whos your favourite

How old are you?S1: Im 13.T: Im older than you. You are younger than me.意圖:學(xué)生們都掌握了如何詢問(wèn)對(duì)方年齡的句型,所以學(xué)生很快能說(shuō)出兩位體育運(yùn)動(dòng)員的年齡,此時(shí),

6、教師再引導(dǎo)學(xué)生們對(duì)他們的年齡進(jìn)行比較,這樣學(xué)生能容易地理解比較級(jí)的意義。同時(shí),把older和younger這對(duì)相反的形容詞比較級(jí)放在一起教,能讓學(xué)生對(duì)它們的意思理解得更深刻,更有話說(shuō),運(yùn)用得更到位。taller & shorter T: Yao Ming is 229 cm tall. How tall is Liu Xiang? Ss: He is 189 cm tall. Teach to read “cm -Centimeter. cen-ti-me-ter”. Let Ss guess my height. Then let Ss introduce their height. T:

8、an Yao Ming.Teach to read “shorter”. 根據(jù)前面幾個(gè)形容詞來(lái)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生初步認(rèn)識(shí)比較級(jí)后綴“er” 發(fā)音規(guī)律。T: I have a brother. He is taller than me. What about you?S1: I have an uncle. He is taller than me.S2: I have a sister. She is shorter than me.意圖:在用了How old are you?句型來(lái)詢問(wèn)年齡之后,學(xué)生再學(xué)習(xí)句型How tall are you?來(lái)詢問(wèn)身高就容易多了。在此環(huán)節(jié),初步地讓學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)了一下后綴“

9、er”的發(fā)音規(guī)律,有助于掃除學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)其它更多形容詞比較級(jí)時(shí)出現(xiàn)的讀音障礙。2. stronger Compare our P.E. teacher and English teacher. Who is stronger? Teach to read “stronger”, then let Ss talk about “Who is stronger than you in your family/ class?” 意圖:先從學(xué)生熟悉的體育老師和英語(yǔ)老師的外形相比,讓學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)stronger的意思和用法,再讓學(xué)生自由說(shuō)出自己的家人或班上比自己強(qiáng)壯的人來(lái)進(jìn)行操練和鞏固。3. 10、車) S1: I am 152 cm tall. How tall are you? S2: Im 155 cm tall. Im taller than you(S1). How tall are you(S3)? S3: Im 151 cm tall. Im shorter than you(S2). S4: 意圖:用游戲來(lái)訓(xùn)練句型和新單詞,學(xué)生興趣高。Lets sing a song.Im taller than you.Hes shorter than me.Im younger than him. Shes older than me./ Im stronger than her.意

11、圖:用歌曲幫助學(xué)生記憶。Lets play. Let three Ss come to theplatform. Let other Ss compare them. 意圖:此環(huán)節(jié)給學(xué)生展示的機(jī)會(huì),檢查學(xué)生在實(shí)際情況下的運(yùn)用能力。Lets try.Step 3 Practice.Let Ss show the photos of their family and introduce the members to others.e.g. : I am 152 cm tall. My sister is 148 cm tall. I am taller than my sister. My mother is 39 years old. My father is 40. My mother is younger than my father. Look at my parents.
