If the aerodrome was a heliport, the abbreviation (Heli) follows theaerodro

11、me name.In some instances a land aerodrome, although abandoned, remains highly recognizable from the air and, as such, es an excellent land mark. Under these circumstances, abandoned aerodromes of this nature can remain on the aeronautical charts for some time and, therefore, they continue to appear

12、 in the abandoned aerodrome list. Such aerodromes are shown on VFR charts as abandoned.Land aerodromes which are in operation and are highly recognizable from the air for a significant part of the year, but for which no information is able to be published in the Aerodrome/Facility Directory,do not a

13、ppear in the abandoned aerodrome list.
