Content01WhatistheEmphaticPattern什么是強(qiáng)調(diào)句:ItwasinthestreetthatImethimyesterday.強(qiáng)調(diào),是一種基本語(yǔ)法,也是一種修辭方式。人們?cè)谌粘=涣髦校袝r(shí)為了加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣或突出重要內(nèi)容或增加感情色彩,就會(huì)用到強(qiáng)調(diào)。英語(yǔ)中表強(qiáng)調(diào)的方式以強(qiáng)調(diào)句型為主,也包括其他的一些強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu)。英語(yǔ)中有時(shí)為了需要,經(jīng)常要強(qiáng)調(diào)句子中的某一成分,要用到一些強(qiáng)調(diào)句型。02relatedconcept
強(qiáng)調(diào)句的基本結(jié)構(gòu):Itis/was+被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分(主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)或狀語(yǔ)等)+that/who(當(dāng)強(qiáng)調(diào)主語(yǔ)且主語(yǔ)指人)+句子的其余部分知識(shí)點(diǎn):連接詞一般說(shuō)來(lái),如果被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分是人時(shí),用連詞that或who;被強(qiáng)調(diào)的部分是賓語(yǔ),指人時(shí)也可以用whom;如果被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分是物,只能用連詞that。如:ItwasJohnandMikewho/thatsawMaryinthestreetlastnight.

ItwasinthestreetthatImethimyesterday.強(qiáng)調(diào)句的基本結(jié)構(gòu):It+is/was+被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分+that/who+從句注意:被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分:主語(yǔ)/賓語(yǔ)/狀語(yǔ);引導(dǎo)詞:被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分指人/物用that,指人用who。例句:原句:I

lastnightthatIfinishedmyhomework主語(yǔ)謂語(yǔ)賓語(yǔ)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)【學(xué)以致用】Marymetanoldbeggarinthestreetyesterday.(強(qiáng)調(diào)主語(yǔ))ItwasMarywho/thatmetanoldbeggarinthestreetyesterday.(強(qiáng)調(diào)賓語(yǔ))Itwasanoldbeggarwhom/thatMarymetinthestreetyesterday.(強(qiáng)調(diào)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ))ItwasyesterdaythatMarymetanoldbeggarinthestreet.(強(qiáng)調(diào)地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ))ItwasinthestreetthatMarymetanoldbeggaryesterday.not...until的強(qiáng)調(diào)句:強(qiáng)調(diào)含有notuntil的句子時(shí),not位于until從句前,主句謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞作相應(yīng)變化,即itis(was)+notuntil從句+that+其它。如:普通句:Hedidn'tgotobeduntil/tillhiswifecameback.強(qiáng)調(diào)句:Itwasnotuntilhiswifecamebackthathewenttobed.Itwasnotuntilhehadfinishedtheworkthathewenthome.Itwasnotuntil12o’clocklastnightthatmybrothercamehome.not...until的強(qiáng)調(diào)句:Hedidn'tgotobeduntilhisfathercameback.Itwasnotuntilhisfathercamebackthathewenttobed.句型為:Itis/wasnotuntil+被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分+that+其他部分不可分開注意:notuntil不可分開;由于not已經(jīng)前移,that后的部分只能用肯定形式Hedidn'trealizehismistakesuntilhegraduatedfromhighschool.Itwasnotuntilhegraduatedfromhighschoolthatherealizedhismistakes.強(qiáng)調(diào)句的疑問(wèn)句:強(qiáng)調(diào)一般疑問(wèn)句中的某一成分時(shí),要在主句中用一般疑問(wèn)句的順序。Was/Isit+被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分+that/whoWasityouthat/whobrokethewindow?
強(qiáng)調(diào)特殊疑問(wèn)句中的疑問(wèn)詞,其結(jié)構(gòu)模式是:“疑問(wèn)詞+is/was+it+that...”。它同感嘆句的強(qiáng)調(diào)模式極其相似,首先將疑問(wèn)句開頭的部分作為強(qiáng)調(diào)部分,套入強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu),然后再將其變?yōu)橐蓡?wèn)句。Wherewereyouborn?→Wherewasitthatyouwereborn?Whatdidyouwanttosee?→Whatwasitthatyouwantedtosee?Howmanypeoplearebeingtrainedfortheimportantwork?→Howmanypeopleisitthatarebeingtrainedfortheimportantwork?感嘆句的強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu):既要體現(xiàn)強(qiáng)調(diào)句型的形式特征,又要體現(xiàn)感嘆句的自然語(yǔ)序。Howhappyhelooks!→Howhappyitisthathelooks!Whatacleverboyheis!→Whatacleverboyitisthatheis!強(qiáng)調(diào)句中的主謂一致:被強(qiáng)調(diào)的成分為原句的主語(yǔ)時(shí),that/who之后的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞應(yīng)與被強(qiáng)調(diào)的名詞或代詞在人稱和數(shù)方面保持一致關(guān)系,從而選用恰當(dāng)?shù)膭?dòng)詞形式。如:Itisyouwho/thatarewrong.ItisIwho/thatamansweringthequestion.強(qiáng)調(diào)句中的主謂一致:Itis/wasnot…but…that…
不是……而是……that后的動(dòng)詞與but后的名詞或代詞保持一致Itis/was…ratherthan…that…
是……而不是that后的動(dòng)詞與ratherthan前面的名詞或代詞保持一致eg.Itwasnotluckbutdifficultiesthatmakehimsuccess.eg.Personally,Ithinkitisthesalesmanager,ratherthanthesalesgirls,whoistoblame.強(qiáng)調(diào)句中的主謂一致:注意1:但是如果被強(qiáng)調(diào)的部分是人稱代詞,按理應(yīng)用人稱代詞主格形式,但在口語(yǔ)或非正式文體中也可以用其賓格形式,此時(shí)that/who的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要用單數(shù)第三人稱形式is或was。如:Itisme/Iwhoisbeingaskedthefavor.注意2:在Itis/was...,not...that...句型中,其謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞應(yīng)與肯定部分的詞保持一致關(guān)系。如:Itismybrother,notIthatstudiesinthatschool.Itisyou,notyoursisterthatareinchargeofthecompany.強(qiáng)調(diào)句與主語(yǔ)從句的區(qū)別:Itis/was+形容詞/分詞/+that從句,是主語(yǔ)從句,若刪去Itis/was...that...,則原句不成立,It為形式主語(yǔ),真正主語(yǔ)為that后跟部分;強(qiáng)調(diào)句型若刪去“Itis/was...that/who...”,原句結(jié)構(gòu)與語(yǔ)意均完整,譯成中文時(shí),常可加上“正是……”“就是……”之類字眼。強(qiáng)調(diào)句與主語(yǔ)從句的區(qū)別:Itis/was+形容詞/分詞/+that從句,是主語(yǔ)從句,若刪去Itis/was...that...,則原句不成立,It為形式主語(yǔ),真正主語(yǔ)為that后跟部分;強(qiáng)調(diào)句型若刪去“Itis/was...that/who...”,原句結(jié)構(gòu)與語(yǔ)意均完整,譯成中文時(shí),??杉由稀罢恰薄熬褪恰敝愖盅邸tistruethatheishonest.(主語(yǔ)從句)他真的很誠(chéng)實(shí)。ItisknowntoallthatChinaisacountrywithalonghistory.(主語(yǔ)從句)眾所周知,中國(guó)是一個(gè)歷史悠久的國(guó)家。Itwasherethathefelloffhisbicycle.(強(qiáng)調(diào)句)這正是他從自行車上摔下來(lái)的地方。強(qiáng)調(diào)句型與狀語(yǔ)從句的區(qū)別:Itwasat7:00thatIarrived.Itwas7:00whenIarrived.ItwastwoyearsagothatIbegantolearndrawingItis(hasbeen)twoyearssinceIbegantolearndrawingItwastwoyearsbeforetheycametoseeus.Itwastwoyearslaterthattheycametoseeus.Itwon’tbelongbeforewegraduatefromtheschool.Itwillbetwoyearsbeforewegraduatefromthisuniversity.強(qiáng)調(diào)句型與狀語(yǔ)從句的區(qū)別:Itwasat7:00thatIarrived.(強(qiáng)調(diào)句型,強(qiáng)調(diào)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)at7:00)正是在7:00時(shí),我到了。Itwas7:00whenIarrived.(時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句,在7:00前無(wú)介詞at)當(dāng)我到達(dá)時(shí),時(shí)間是7:00。ItwastwoyearsagothatIbegantolearndrawing.(強(qiáng)調(diào)句型,前后時(shí)態(tài)一致)正是在兩年前我開始學(xué)習(xí)繪畫。Itis(hasbeen)twoyearssinceIbegantolearndrawing.(since引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句,前后時(shí)態(tài)不一致)自從我學(xué)習(xí)繪畫以來(lái)已經(jīng)有兩年了。強(qiáng)調(diào)句型與狀語(yǔ)從句的區(qū)別:Itwastwoyearsbeforetheycametoseeus.(時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句)過(guò)了兩年后他們才來(lái)看我們。Itwastwoyearslaterthattheycametoseeus.(強(qiáng)調(diào)句型)正是兩年后他們才來(lái)看我們的。Itwon’tbelongbeforewegraduatefromtheschool.(時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句)不久我就將畢業(yè)了。Itwillbetwoyearsbeforewegraduatefromthisuniversity.(時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句)再過(guò)兩年我們就將大學(xué)畢業(yè)了?!緦W(xué)以致用】Itwasat11o’clock

________hecameback.Itwasonthefarm________wepractisedplantingcrops.Itwasthefarm________welearnalot.強(qiáng)調(diào)時(shí)間或地點(diǎn)時(shí),有介詞于其前,則連接詞用that,無(wú)介詞,則連接詞用when(時(shí)間)或where(地點(diǎn))thatthatwherewhen【學(xué)以致用】Itwasyesterday________wechattedalotonline.Itwasthere________Mikewasdrownedyesterday.【特殊情況】有些表時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)的詞匯或短語(yǔ),本身不需要在其前面加介詞,連接詞只能用thatthatthat【特別提醒】①itis/was與其余部分的時(shí)態(tài)一致,is/was的數(shù)不受被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分單復(fù)數(shù)的影響,只有is/was的形式;②被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分,作主語(yǔ)的代詞用主格,作賓語(yǔ)的代詞用賓格
Hehelpedmeyesterday.eg.Itwashethathelpedmeyesterday.eg.Itwasmethathehelpedyesterday.③如果被強(qiáng)調(diào)的成分有同位語(yǔ),同位語(yǔ)也要提前【補(bǔ)充】用“do/does/did+動(dòng)詞原形”進(jìn)行強(qiáng)調(diào)這種強(qiáng)調(diào)句型只有一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)和一般過(guò)去時(shí)兩種,只對(duì)肯定的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行強(qiáng)調(diào),沒(méi)有疑問(wèn)和否定形式。Do在句中要重讀,根據(jù)時(shí)態(tài)提煉出do的各種形式,被提煉的動(dòng)詞變成動(dòng)詞原形。*Dobecarefulnexttime,please.下次請(qǐng)務(wù)必小心。*Shedidtellmeaboutheraddress,butIforgetallaboutit.她確實(shí)告訴過(guò)我她的地址,但我全忘了。(本來(lái)是told,強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)詞,我們提煉出did,然后用tell的原形。)*ShedoescomefromaEuropeancountry.她的確來(lái)自歐洲某個(gè)國(guó)家。(本來(lái)是comes,應(yīng)為強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)詞,我們提煉出does,然后用come的原形。)【補(bǔ)充】用詞或詞組very,only,well,alot,onearth等來(lái)表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。e.g.That’stheverybookwereadlastyear.TomistheonlypersonherethatcanspeakEnglishandChinese.Whatonearthdoyouwanttosay?反復(fù)使用同一個(gè)詞來(lái)表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。e.g.Iwillnever,neverforgetyou.Hethoughtandthought,andsuddenlyhegotagoodidea.用倒裝句來(lái)表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。e.g.ThatsheisagoodgirlIknow.Thisthestudentscanundersatand.【補(bǔ)充】用感嘆句來(lái)表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。eg.Howinterestingthebookitis!Whatabeautifuldressitis!用雙重否定來(lái)表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。eg.Takingpart-timejobsisneverwithoutdrawbacks.用比較狀語(yǔ)從句來(lái)表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。eg.Nothingismoreimperativethantolearnfromthepast.03HowtosolveproblemsItwasmidnight_____hecameback.
