數(shù)詞I? Thousandsofpeoplegototheseasideeveryyear. first,second,third通?? Hewas(the)thirdintheexam. 如:We'llhavetodoitasecondtime. 如:twothirds=2/3threefifths=3/5注:1/2通常讀作a[one]half,一般不讀作asecond;1/4可讀作a[one]fourth,也可讀作a[one]quarter。 如:They'retwicethesizeofchickens. Theirhouseisaboutthreetimesasbigasours. 倍數(shù)的幾種表達(dá)法倍數(shù)+as+形容詞/副詞(原級(jí))+as。 ⑶倍數(shù)+thesize/length/weight 表? Two-thirdsofthemoneywasspentonfood. 約數(shù)用tens/dozens/scores/hundreds/thousands/millionsof 表示幾十、幾百、上千、成千上萬"等。 Thousandsofpeoplediedintheearthquake. ⑵有時(shí)單數(shù)形式的dozen,score,hundred,million等前面有數(shù)詞,后面也有of,此時(shí)的of表示的是部分與整體的關(guān)系,其后一定是them,us之類的人稱代詞或者有the,these,your之類的限定詞。女口Iwanttobuythreedozenoftheeggs.(我想買其中的三打蛋)(from用lessthan,under,below,almost,nearly,upto等來表示小于或接近某數(shù)目。 用or,orso,about,around,some,moreorless等表示在某一數(shù)目左右。
