站在臺(tái)上面對(duì)大家，我心情十分激動(dòng)。好像是在參加

一次歷史性的長(zhǎng)征。我們今天面對(duì)的遠(yuǎn)不只一場(chǎng)競(jìng)賽或角

逐。這是才華出眾，生氣勃勃的中國(guó)青年的一次聚會(huì)。我

們是青年一代的代表。為迎接新世紀(jì)的到來(lái)，我們正在從

各方面作好準(zhǔn)備。

在這一歷史時(shí)刻，能有機(jī)會(huì)代表同齡人在此認(rèn)真地回

顧于國(guó)于己都至關(guān)重要的過(guò)去的15年，我感激萬(wàn)分。

盡管只能談?wù)剛€(gè)人經(jīng)歷，而且只涉及其中一個(gè)小小的

片段，但我相信，它仍然折射出對(duì)我和在過(guò)去15年間一同

成長(zhǎng)起來(lái)的青年人都不可缺少的一種思想基礎(chǔ)。

我上小學(xué)時(shí)，班上有位小姑娘，學(xué)習(xí)非常刻苦而成績(jī)

卻不盡人意。

老師要我?guī)椭?。看得出，她也寄厚望于我。但我?/p>

時(shí)還是個(gè)小男孩，坐不住，不懂事。我老是ME避她。以便

有更多時(shí)間自己玩。

期末考試前一天，她來(lái)求我說(shuō)“請(qǐng)你給我講解一下行

嗎？這次我很想考得好一點(diǎn)?！蔽议_(kāi)始給她講解，不一會(huì)兒

便草草收?qǐng)?，假裝沒(méi)有察覺(jué)她迷茫的眼神，一溜煙兒地跑

開(kāi)了。不出所料，這次她又考砸了。兩個(gè)月后，新學(xué)期依

始，傳來(lái)她死于血癌的消息。我沒(méi)有完成那項(xiàng)小小的任

務(wù)，無(wú)人知曉。但我卻不能原諒自己。她的眼睛令我難以

忘懷，仿佛在責(zé)問(wèn)我，“你為什么不愿多幫助我呢？這對(duì)于

你來(lái)說(shuō)，并不費(fèi)事。你為什么不能理解我對(duì)你的信賴，而

讓我?guī)е纯嗪瓦z憾離開(kāi)這個(gè)世界？”

我當(dāng)時(shí)才八九歲。但從某種意義上講，這件事成了我

生活的新起點(diǎn)。因?yàn)槲议_(kāi)始體會(huì)到“責(zé)任”二字的意義，

并盡心盡力地學(xué)著完成自己的義務(wù)。我也逐漸領(lǐng)會(huì)了這個(gè)

神圣字眼的深刻內(nèi)含:人與人之間的彼此需要和信任、合作

和依賴正是人類社會(huì)存在的基礎(chǔ)。

之后，我在生活中又經(jīng)受過(guò)多次失敗，但那小姑娘之

死所引起的懊悔，心里卻不曾再現(xiàn)。想到自己做每一件事

都能盡職盡責(zé)，一種滿足之感便油然而生。

此事及類似的多起事件改變了我，完善了我。當(dāng)我長(zhǎng)

大成人，我開(kāi)始領(lǐng)悟周圍發(fā)生的一切變化。我發(fā)現(xiàn)，從某

種意義上說(shuō)，社會(huì)跟我一樣，正處在一個(gè)自我完善的時(shí)期。

新建筑、新商品、新款式一天一個(gè)樣。新思維、新信息、

新技術(shù)層出不窮。即便萬(wàn)里相隔，人們?cè)谵D(zhuǎn)瞬之間即可相

互交談。社會(huì)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)越演越烈。

人們?cè)絹?lái)越強(qiáng)調(diào)個(gè)性和創(chuàng)造性。越來(lái)越多的人因工作

努力而受到獎(jiǎng)賞。這就是當(dāng)今的時(shí)代，一代新人由成長(zhǎng)邁

入成熟的時(shí)代。這是我們這一代人接替父輩治國(guó)安邦的時(shí)

代。然而，我們也面臨很多間題。

據(jù)悉，壞人在光天化日之下作惡，周圍的群眾居然袖

手旁觀，無(wú)動(dòng)于衷。我還聽(tīng)說(shuō)，目前我國(guó)尚有100萬(wàn)兒童連

小學(xué)也上不起，而巨額資金卻拿去舉辦奢侈的宴會(huì)和購(gòu)置

豪華的轎車。

我們常常買的是劣質(zhì)藥品，或名曰藥品實(shí)為一文不值

的廢物，非但不能除病去痛，反而會(huì)使病情加重。在某些

人看來(lái)，世上金錢(qián)最寶貴，只要能賺錢(qián)，不惜犧牲道德和

責(zé)任。

因而，這個(gè)時(shí)代賦予我們的是更強(qiáng)烈的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)和效率意

識(shí)，使我們更善于批判性地思考和創(chuàng)造性地行動(dòng)。

此外，這個(gè)時(shí)代要求我們這一代人必須認(rèn)清自己肩負(fù)

的歷史重任，下定決心，采取行動(dòng)，解決上述問(wèn)題。長(zhǎng)期

以來(lái)，歷史一直在我們這一代人身上培養(yǎng)著這些品質(zhì)?，F(xiàn)

在，歷史呼喚我們挺身而出，以實(shí)際行動(dòng)向全民族及全人

類證實(shí)我們的拳拳愛(ài)國(guó)之心和大無(wú)畏的英雄主義。

此刻，我站在講臺(tái)上回顧15年來(lái)的學(xué)生生活。今后的

歲月，我很可能平平淡淡地度過(guò)。但這絲毫不會(huì)讓我心灰

意冷。因?yàn)槲抑?，憑借強(qiáng)烈的責(zé)任感和精益求精的不懈

奮斗，我將追求一種有意義的生活，一種不枉此生的生活。

此刻，我站在講臺(tái)上回顧過(guò)去，15年來(lái)祖國(guó)取得的巨

大成就激勵(lì)著千千萬(wàn)萬(wàn)的同齡人。我們之中大多數(shù)人將與

我永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)忘記班上那位小姑娘。她本應(yīng)該卻沒(méi)能和

在座各位一樣享受今天美好的人生和明日充滿希望的世

界。
