----------------->

Therestoodadogbeforehim.

Thereexistdifferentopinionsonthisquestion.

“Now,Then+come(或be,go,lie,run)+主語"結(jié)構(gòu)。

Thencamethehourwehadbeenlookingforwardto.

Nowcomesyourturn.

PresentatthemeetingwereProfessorWhiteandmanyotherguests.

GonearethedayswhentheycoulddowhattheylikedtotheChinesepeople.

AmongthegoodsareChristmastrees,flowers,candlesandtoys.

當(dāng)表示地點(diǎn)的副詞和介詞詞組(如here,there,onthewall,underthetree,infrontofthehouse,inthe

Herecomestheoldlady!

Atthefootofthehillliesabeautifullake.

Thesoldiersrantothebuilding,onthetopofwhichflewaflag.

Eastofthelakelietwotowns.

Underthetreewaslyingawoundedsoldier.

表示方向的副詞out,in,up,down,away等置于句首,要用全部倒裝。

IncameMr.White.

Upwentthearrowintotheair.

Awaywenttheboy.

Hereyouare.

Thereshecomes.

“Youmustbejoking!9\shoutedmywife.

“HeisthelastmanIwanttosee”,answeredtheboy.

①never,not,little,stillless,leastofall,seldom,rarely,barely,hardly,scarcely,nowhere,nolonger

NotaworddidIsaytohim.

NeverhaveIfoundhimsohappy.

LittledoeshecareaboutwhatIsaid.

②innoway,innocase,atnotime,bynomeans,onnoaccount,onnocondition(決不),

under/innocircumstances(在任何情況下都不)等

Innowayshouldyougiveup.

NotonlydoesJohnloveChinese,heisalsogoodatspeakingit.

Notonlythemotherbutalsothechildrenaresick.

NotuntilIbegantoworkdidIrealizehowmuchtimeIhadwasted.

⑤Nosooner...than...,Hardly/Scarcely...when...

Nosooner(Hardly)hadwereachedhomethan(when)itbegantorain.

Neitherwillhegototheparty,nordoeshewanttogo.

Onlyhecananswerthequestion.

Exhaustedas/thoughshewas,shewasn'tabletosleep.

Childasheis,heknowsmuchabouttheworld.

Muchashelikesthebike,hedoesn'twanttobuyit.

Carefullyashedidhishomework,hestillmademanymistakes.

Tryashemight,hedidn'tpasstheexam.

Failashedid,hedidn'tgiveup.

Detesthimaswemay,wemustadmirewhathehasaccomplished.

---1wasateacherbutIwanttobeadoctornow.---Soitiswithmyfriend.

---Youhaveforgottoclosethedoor.---SoIdid.

ManyatimehasJohngivenmegoodadvice.

Oftenhavewemadethattest.

HadItime(=IfIhadtime),Iwouldgoandhelpyou.

WereIyou(=IfIwereyou),Iwouldgoabroad.

Shouldhecome(=Ifheshouldcome),tellhimtoringmeup.

Mayyousucceed!
