3、要詢問(wèn)某人的身高或某物的高度是多少,常用what來(lái)提問(wèn),而不用how much或how many。 eg: Whats your height?你身高多少? Whats the height of that wall? 那堵墻有多高,height可與介詞in連用,常用于描述某人或某物高度的句子中,其結(jié)構(gòu)為:sb./sth.+be+數(shù)字+meters/feet in height,此時(shí), in height相當(dāng)于形容詞tall。 eg: He is two meters in height. =He is two meters tall.他身高兩米,拓展,heavy/hevi/adj.重的,知識(shí)
