1、Unit 3 Under the sea Reading一、學(xué)生分析我校實(shí)行英語分層教學(xué)。A層主要是夯實(shí)基礎(chǔ),B層主要是強(qiáng)化提升。本節(jié)課主要是針對高二級B層學(xué)生上的一節(jié)閱讀課,B層學(xué)生大多單詞和短語積累比較多,但歸納總結(jié)能力及綜合運(yùn)用能力還需要強(qiáng)化提高。文章主旨把握和文章細(xì)節(jié)把握是英語閱讀的重心,也是學(xué)生成功完成閱讀理解題的關(guān)鍵。二、教材分析1. 教學(xué)內(nèi)容本節(jié)課內(nèi)容選自人教版選修7,Unit 3 Under the seaReading(Old Tom the killer whale)2. 教材處理本節(jié)課主要通過不同閱讀手段對學(xué)生進(jìn)行引導(dǎo),學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)實(shí)踐,小組合作探究,歸納并總結(jié)出解題技巧
2、,提高學(xué)生解題能力。并通過知識的拓展延伸,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生積極的情感態(tài)度。三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)Teaching goals1. 能力目標(biāo)(Ability goals)1)To develop the students reading ability, learn to use some reading strategies such as guessing, key sentences, skimming ,scanning and so on2)Let the Ss grasp the key information by retelling the passage.2. 知識目標(biāo)(knowledge ai
3、ms)Enable students to know about the background of the text and the information of the killer whale. Enable students to grasp some important words and phrases. 3. 情感目標(biāo)(Emotional aims.)Enable the Ss to learn more about the relationship between humans and animals through reading. Humans and animals sh

6、Teaching Procedures & waysStep 1: Lead-inAsk the students to show an interesting story to focus students attention on the main topic of the reading passage.(whats the biggest animal under the sea? can you describe them?)設(shè)計(jì)意圖:開門見山,以故事形式引入正題,以聽覺信息激發(fā)學(xué)生探索海底世界的好奇心。Step 2:Transition to the ReadingLet the
7、Ss look at the pictures in Pre-reading and get them prepared for the reading passage. 8、主題,以視覺信息促進(jìn)學(xué)生思考。Step 3:Rading 1)Skimming Let the Ss skim the text and get the main ideas of the two anecdotes. Q: Who is Old Tom? What is the first anecdote about? and what about the second one?Skim the text, and fill in the blanks with names mentioned in the text1. _was 16 years of age when he went

Consider the problem carefully and well have a discussion設(shè)計(jì)意圖:觸類旁通,拓展輻射,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生積極的情感態(tài)度,并提高學(xué)生語言表達(dá)能力。Step 6 HomeworkWrite a short passage “Whether whaling should be allowed設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過寫作,強(qiáng)化學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)能力,和綜合運(yùn)用知識的能力,提高英語水平。八、教學(xué)反思普通高中英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)指出:“高中英語教學(xué)要著重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取信息、處理信息、分析問題和解決問題的能力,特別注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生用英語進(jìn)行思維和表達(dá)的能力?!边@就要求我們正確的引導(dǎo)
