The in tercepti ng radius form on the lead flank is there to promote efficie nt material displaceme nt and material flow. The steep trailing, or pressure, flank which opposes the faste ner head is e

6、ngin eered to resist pull-out forces, whether they be applied by a ten sile load or in duced by torque.This unique thread and its narrow tip angle efficiently displace material and therefore require mini mal en ergy to form an internal thread.
