《老人與海》故事的背景是在二十世紀(jì)中葉的古巴.主角人物是一位圣地亞哥的老漁夫,配角是一個(gè)叫馬諾林的小孩.《老人與海》所寫(xiě)的是一個(gè)老漁夫在大海捕魚(yú)三天三夜的體驗(yàn).老人面對(duì)了大量困難,生活窘困,其他漁民的諷刺,只有一個(gè)小男孩給他送飯.老人抉擇去漁夫們從未去過(guò)的深海打漁,以證明自己的才能和士氣.在海上,老人釣到一只大馬哈魚(yú),但是魚(yú)太大,老人做了多數(shù)努力終究把魚(yú)掛在了船邊,正是由于這樣,才導(dǎo)致了悲劇,魚(yú)的血引來(lái)了大量鯊魚(yú),老人下定決心,“跟讓它們斗,我要跟它們都到死“結(jié)果,回到了岸上,老人的船上只綁著魚(yú)刺.

首先,閱讀可以開(kāi)闊我們的視野。我們了解很久以前發(fā)生的事情的主要方式是通過(guò)閱讀。人們用他們自己的方式盡自己最大的努力寫(xiě)關(guān)于他們那個(gè)年頭的事情。我們看書(shū)的時(shí)候,我們才有機(jī)遇了解到一切。書(shū)中的內(nèi)容包含學(xué)識(shí)的方方面面。通過(guò)書(shū)籍我們可以了解到關(guān)于傳記,科學(xué),技術(shù),文化,經(jīng)濟(jì)等方面的學(xué)識(shí)。從閱讀中,我們的視野很難不被拓寬。

其次,閱讀可以陶冶我們的情操。我相信閱讀一些美好的句子或者書(shū)中描述的美觀東西會(huì)使我們感到放松和舒適。我們都知道一個(gè)人擁有的學(xué)識(shí)越多,那個(gè)人就會(huì)表現(xiàn)得越好。我覺(jué)得這就是閱讀的魅力。假設(shè)有更多的人熱愛(ài)閱讀,這個(gè)世界會(huì)變得更加文明。
