《大學(xué)英語》課程教學(xué)大綱課程編號(hào):5101008課程名稱:大學(xué)英語一、課程簡介大學(xué)英語課程是非英語專業(yè)??粕匦薜墓哺渍n,本課程旨在改革傳統(tǒng)的教學(xué)理念,以逐步建立起具有我校特色的“以學(xué)生為中心,以教師為主導(dǎo)〞的英語語言知識(shí)與應(yīng)用技能、學(xué)習(xí)策略和跨文化交際為主要內(nèi)容,以外語教學(xué)理論為指導(dǎo)并集多種教學(xué)模式和教學(xué)手段為一體的教學(xué)體系。二、教學(xué)目的及要求課程教學(xué)的目的:大學(xué)英語教學(xué)指根底階段的英語學(xué)習(xí),即一至二年級(jí)四個(gè)學(xué)期。教學(xué)目標(biāo)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語綜合應(yīng)用能力,特別是聽說能力,使他們在今后工作和社會(huì)交往中能用英語有效地進(jìn)行口頭和書面的信息交流,同時(shí)增強(qiáng)其自主學(xué)習(xí)能力、提高綜合文化素養(yǎng),以適應(yīng)我國經(jīng)濟(jì)開展和國際交流的需要。大學(xué)英語教學(xué)要求包括了英語語言知識(shí)、應(yīng)用技能、學(xué)習(xí)策略和跨文化交際等方面的內(nèi)容,并以定性和定量的描述表達(dá)了大學(xué)英語教學(xué)的指導(dǎo)思想,即強(qiáng)調(diào)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語聽說能力,以及讀寫譯等英語綜合應(yīng)用能力和專業(yè)英語技能;貫徹分類指導(dǎo)、因材施教的原那么,以適應(yīng)立體化、網(wǎng)絡(luò)化、個(gè)性化英語教學(xué)和學(xué)習(xí)的實(shí)際需要。課程教學(xué)的根本要求:本課程在加強(qiáng)英語語言根底知識(shí)和根本技能訓(xùn)練的同時(shí),重視培養(yǎng)學(xué)生實(shí)際使用英語進(jìn)行交際的能力,特別是口語訓(xùn)練。通過本課程的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生應(yīng)該到達(dá)以下要求:1.詞匯方面以高中詞匯2228為起點(diǎn),經(jīng)過兩年四個(gè)學(xué)期學(xué)習(xí),要求學(xué)生掌握3000個(gè)單詞和500個(gè)詞組〔較高要求為2000詞,更高要求為1000和500個(gè)詞組〕,其中約1500個(gè)為英語積極詞匯,即要求學(xué)生能夠在認(rèn)知的根底上在口頭和書面表達(dá)兩方面熟練應(yīng)用的詞匯。加強(qiáng)學(xué)生詞匯辨析能力和一詞多意的掌握和詞匯素質(zhì)的提高。為了幫助學(xué)生集中精力學(xué)好根本詞匯,將單詞分為三類:(1)wordstodrill(通過反復(fù)操練熟練掌握其用法的單詞)(2)wordstoremember(能記住其音,形,意的單詞)(3)wordstohaveanoddingacquaintancewith(能夠在下次出現(xiàn)時(shí)根據(jù)上下文識(shí)別其意思的單詞)2.語法方面掌握根本的英語語法規(guī)那么根底上,加強(qiáng)分析長句能力和寫復(fù)雜句的能力訓(xùn)練,注意語法與句子流暢的關(guān)系。3.聽力方面通過真實(shí)的場景、地道的語言和多樣的練習(xí)重點(diǎn)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生瞬時(shí)記憶的能力,尤其是學(xué)生對(duì)關(guān)鍵信息捕捉能力的訓(xùn)練,以適應(yīng)大學(xué)B級(jí)考試。要求學(xué)生到達(dá)能聽懂英語短話和演講,能根本聽懂題材熟悉、篇幅較短的英語文章,語速為每分鐘70-100詞,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要點(diǎn)和相關(guān)細(xì)節(jié)。4.口語方面結(jié)合課文問答,復(fù)述,討論以及聽說教程對(duì)日常話題的訓(xùn)練,要求學(xué)生能夠用英語比擬自然流暢地進(jìn)行日常會(huì)話和發(fā)表見解。能根本表達(dá)個(gè)人意見、情感、觀點(diǎn),能根本陳述事實(shí)、理由和描述事件,表達(dá)清楚且語音語調(diào)根本正確。要求學(xué)生結(jié)合課文練習(xí),學(xué)會(huì)使用高級(jí)詞匯和復(fù)雜結(jié)構(gòu)來表達(dá)自己和翻譯句子,以便在B級(jí)寫作測試中發(fā)揮較高水平,養(yǎng)成說流暢語言,寫精品文章的意識(shí)和能力。5.閱讀方面加強(qiáng)學(xué)生對(duì)主題句和關(guān)鍵詞的敏感性訓(xùn)練。以配套的快速閱讀材料為載體,加強(qiáng)快速閱讀技能培訓(xùn),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生猜想生詞的能力和帶出生詞閱讀英語文章的習(xí)慣,消除恐懼心理。加強(qiáng)朗讀和背誦的要求和檢查.6.寫作方面加強(qiáng)句子結(jié)構(gòu)和時(shí)態(tài)等根本句子知識(shí)補(bǔ)習(xí)的同時(shí),訓(xùn)練學(xué)生造句能力,并從一開始就要求學(xué)生練習(xí)寫有意義的英文段落,重點(diǎn)加強(qiáng)對(duì)學(xué)生應(yīng)用文寫作能力的培養(yǎng),使學(xué)生能在半小時(shí)內(nèi)寫出不少于160詞的短文,內(nèi)容完整、觀點(diǎn)明確、條理清楚、語句通順。7.翻譯〔英譯漢/漢譯英〕方面能借助詞典將中等難度的一般題材的文字材料和對(duì)外交往中的一般業(yè)務(wù)文字材料譯成漢語。理解正確,譯文達(dá)意,格式恰當(dāng),能使用適當(dāng)?shù)姆g技巧。三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)教學(xué)重點(diǎn):1.B級(jí)詞匯的掌握。2.閱讀理解能力的培養(yǎng),以及根據(jù)閱讀材料提煉中心觀點(diǎn)、簡答問題和寫作的能力。聽說能力的培養(yǎng)。教學(xué)難點(diǎn):近義詞、形近詞等易混淆的詞匯辨析,以及復(fù)用式詞匯和重點(diǎn)詞組的掌握和應(yīng)用。2.根據(jù)閱讀材料進(jìn)行語言輸出的能力,即根據(jù)閱讀材料提煉中心觀點(diǎn)、簡答問題和寫作的能力。聽懂一定主題的聽力材料,并且能夠根據(jù)聽力材料,進(jìn)行簡單口語表達(dá)和交流。四、教學(xué)方式根據(jù)《大學(xué)英語課程教學(xué)要求》,采用新的教學(xué)模式,改良原來的以教師講授為主的單一課堂教學(xué)模式。新的教學(xué)模式以現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)、特別是多媒體和網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)為支撐,使英語教學(xué)朝著個(gè)性化學(xué)習(xí)、不受時(shí)間和地點(diǎn)限制的學(xué)習(xí)、主動(dòng)式學(xué)習(xí)方向開展。根據(jù)學(xué)校的條件和學(xué)生情況,設(shè)計(jì)出適合本校情況的基于多媒體手段的聽說教學(xué)模式,聽說教學(xué)和訓(xùn)練可直接在多媒體環(huán)境中進(jìn)行,并借助于網(wǎng)路平臺(tái)上的相關(guān)內(nèi)容,從而完成傳統(tǒng)課堂上無法完成的聽說訓(xùn)練,能夠隨時(shí)記錄、了解、檢測學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)情況以及教師的教學(xué)與輔導(dǎo)情況。教學(xué)模式實(shí)現(xiàn)了從以教師為中心、單純傳授語言知識(shí)和技能的教學(xué)模式,向以學(xué)生為中心、既傳授一般的語言知識(shí)與技能,更加注重培養(yǎng)語言運(yùn)用能力和自主學(xué)習(xí)能力的教學(xué)模式的轉(zhuǎn)變。五、學(xué)時(shí)、學(xué)分大學(xué)英語課程開設(shè)兩年。1—3學(xué)期,每周4學(xué)時(shí),第4學(xué)期,每周2課時(shí),共計(jì),228學(xué)時(shí)、8學(xué)分。第一學(xué)期:本學(xué)期教學(xué)周為16周,每周4學(xué)時(shí),總計(jì)64學(xué)時(shí)第二學(xué)期:本學(xué)期教學(xué)周為17周,每周4學(xué)時(shí),總計(jì)68學(xué)時(shí)第三學(xué)期:本學(xué)期教學(xué)周為16周,每周4學(xué)時(shí),總計(jì)64學(xué)時(shí)第四學(xué)期:本學(xué)期教學(xué)周為16周,每周2學(xué)時(shí),總計(jì)32學(xué)時(shí)六、教學(xué)時(shí)數(shù)分配表學(xué)期標(biāo)題學(xué)時(shí)分配講授實(shí)踐第一學(xué)期大學(xué)英語648第二學(xué)期大學(xué)英語688第三學(xué)期大學(xué)英語648第四學(xué)期大學(xué)英語328七、教學(xué)內(nèi)容第一學(xué)期UnitOneOnCampus根本教學(xué)目的與要求:1.getfamiliarwiththewordsandexpressionsaboutcampus.2.masterthetechniquesofdescribingthecampuslifeandstudy3.gettoknowsomeknowledgeaboutcampus.completealetterofcongratulation重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn):PassageA:AJewishBoyandHisMathPassageB:Cyber-lightningStruckOraltechniquesofdescribingitemsinstudents’dormitoryandstudyingabroad主要教學(xué)內(nèi)容:1.Listeningcomprehension:Part2inSection1:I’mhomesick/TheschoolclubisfunPart2inSection2:Takingacourse/Inthelibrary2.PassageA:1)Theusageofnewwordsandphrases:(vain,wonder,workon…)2)Theexplanationoftheimportantsentencesinthepassage:3.PassageB:TheusageofnewwordsandphrasesTexttranslation(English-Chinese)4.AppliedWriting:AletterofcongratulationUnitTwoX-sports根本教學(xué)目的與要求:1.getfamiliarwiththewordsandexpressionsaboutX-sports.2.masterthetechniquesofdescribingvariousX-sportsandexpressingemotions.3.writeanapplicationletter.4pletegrammarexercises:ModalAuxiliaries重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn):1.PassageA:IrishExtremeSports2.Passage
