Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake? Section A 1 (1a-1c)一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語(yǔ)言知識(shí)目標(biāo):1) 能掌握以下單詞: shake, milk shake, blender, turn on, peel, pour, spoon, finally能掌握以下句型: How do you make a banana milk shake? First, peel the bananas 2) 能了解以下語(yǔ)法:掌握用first, then, next, finally 等詞來(lái)表述正確的步驟順序。 3) 學(xué)會(huì)描述做一些常見食物的過(guò)程,并能正確地運(yùn)用表示順序的詞匯。 2. 情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo): 1) 通過(guò)制作食物的介紹, 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的實(shí)際生活能力, 了解生活知識(shí), 增長(zhǎng)生活閱歷, 培養(yǎng)實(shí)踐操作能力和動(dòng)手能力。2) 通過(guò)食物制作過(guò)程的介紹, 讓學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)到勞動(dòng)成果的來(lái)之不易, 使之懂得不能浪費(fèi)食物, 珍惜他人的勞動(dòng)成果。二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):動(dòng)詞詞組;描述過(guò)程的順序詞。2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):能恰當(dāng)?shù)厥褂闷硎咕浔磉_(dá)食物的制作過(guò)程。三、教學(xué)過(guò)程I. Warming up1. Ask Ss the question: What did you do last weekend? Then lead Ss to guess what the teacher did last weekend and show Ss a video.2. Ask Ss to watch the video and answer some questions about the video to get familiar with the new words and let the Ss know about milk shake by watching the video.II. Have a discussion.1. Ss discuss in groups to find out what are needed to make a banana milk shake.2. T check the answers and lead Ss to read the new words. Show Ss how to make a banana milk shake.1. T shows Ss the steps one by one. While the teacher is showing the steps ask Ss to follow the T to say the steps together. Meanwhile ask Ss to guess the meaning of some important verbs that will be used in the steps to make Ss have a better understanding of these verbs.2. T write down” First, ; Next,; Then, ; Finally,” on the blackboard to make the Ss feel the usage of these words.IV. Game timeT shows Ss some pictures about the steps and ask Ss to say out the steps in English by looking at the pictures.V. Work on 1a1. Finish 1a. Ask Ss to write the names of the actions. Choose the correct words. Ask Ss to fill in the blanks on their own. Then check the answers.2. Teach the names of all items. Point to the pictures of the items and ask students to repeat. Focus on the pictures. Ask the students to tell what they see in the picture. Describe each action and ask students to repeat the following: peel the bananas, cut up the bananas, put the bananas and the , milk in the blender, pour the milk in the blender, Turn on the blender; drink the milk shake.3. Once again the T mixes the steps and shows the pictures to let the Ss to practice the steps.VI. Listening 1. Gist before listening. Guess the right order before Ss listen to the tape and share their answers with their partners.2. Work on 1b. Listen and put the instructions in order. _ Turn on the blender. _ Cut up the bananas. _ Drink the milk shake. _ Pour the milk into the blender. _ Put the bananas and ice-cream in the blender. _ Peel three bananas.3. Work on the listening material.Ask Ss to read the listening material and find out what kind of words the speakers use to put all these steps together.T checks the answers and show Ss that they can use these words to describe the steps.VII. Pair work Work on 1c1. Play a game. Ask Ss to choose a number and show the kind of fruit milk shake they are going to make and let Ss practice the steps in groups.2. Each group goes on stage to present their own fruit milk and every member of the group participates in the activity. VIII. Exercise in class and summary1. Ss do the exercise under the lead of the T and then T checks the answers and explain the language points.2. Summary: the procedure of making a milk shake.HomeworkMake a
